Find Tina

Before that night you hadn't been friends with Tina, so the authorities shouldn't look for you there. You hope you destroyed the array in time and you aren't walking into the arms of an amorous werewolf.

You break into the first house you find. Nobody is home and you quickly gather clothes, a couple of twenties and as luck would have it a silver plated butter knife.

You find keys for a car in the house and head off. By now they will be hunting for you, and it won't be long before the car you are in is reported stolen. You drive to the bus station and ditch the car. Rather than get on a bus you begin your walk. Tina lives on the other side of town.

As you begin your walk you wish you had your smart phone. Still after being couped up you are enjoying the walk. Some time later you arrive, more than a little tired.

You enter her building and knock on her door. It creaks open with your first knock. You step in. The place is poorly lit. You are grabbed roughly and thrown against the wall with a knife to your throat.

A second person behind you in a soft unfamiliar feminine voice speaks. "Toby, don't kill him yet. Make him touch the cross.

He thrusts out your hand and she drops something in it. Nothing happens.

He growls. "What the hell are you and what are you doing here?"

"My name is Jack. I was looking for Tina. That's all."

The feminine voice responds. "The Jack that shut down the array? Tina spoke about you. Toby let him go."

"Em he might be lying."

"I've got him covered, besides, who claims to be an escaped mental patient. Sorry Jack, we're just a bit on edge."
