On the way back to the administration office, where you hope to find out the truth from Gina of whether there's a lesbian conspiracy at your small-town hospital, you get waylaid by Dr. Breedlove, an occupational therapy specialist. To your chagrin, she has questions for you on Brian Forbes' case. You put your Big Nurse face on and answer her questions as best you can. She repeats a couple of questions. You clear your throat and answer more slowly, watching her face. Didyma Breedlove seems to be preoccupied. Her voice is a little high and breathy, and she keeps looking up and to the side like she's remembering something or imagining something.

"Thank you, Nurse Bates," the doctor says. You catch a glimpse of the pad where she was taking notes. She did write down the answers you gave her, but she was also doodling hearts around a sketch of a woman's profile with dark curly hair. Is Dr. Breedlove a lesbian too?

By the time you get to the administration office, you just catch Gina Palatino running out the door.

You try and catch her, but she begs off. You're a little miffed by her talk-to-the-hand gesture. It's not like she has anything urgent like a patient on a strictly timed care regime, right?

"Sorry, Gloria!" Gina says. "I can't stay any longer, my wife's back tonight, and we have plans!" she chirps happily and makes her escape.

You imagine Gina as you saw her before, her eyes rolling back and her voice rising in climax, this time with her lesbian wife making a homecoming with her mouth between Gina's thighs. You feel your face flush hot, and you have trouble breathing.
