Intro from the German perspective

We are losing the war despite what de furher tells us over the radio. My twenty -five men and I are within 45 miles of the fatherland even though there is a band of men trying to capture us. We haven't sleep for two days as the enemy constantly forces us onwards.

We a currently about to enter a little farm town called Anloo.I expect no one will stop us from going through. Farmers are not know for resistance. My advance scout come back as we come to the first farm, reporting that there are no males in the town that he could see. Advancing through i sent men to scout the building,to collect all that they find and bring them to the town hall.

Arriving at the town hall I kick the door in. Slowly my men join me with thirty females of all ages and a handful of brats. They cower in the centre of the hall,surrounded by my men. Sending two men out to scout the rest of the town I gather the rest of the men to talk. When all is discussed i place five men on guard duty,ten men to sleep.

I order five men to separate the children from their mothers. Crying and screaming i have the men take the brats to the basement of the hall. Going to the high chair at the long table i address the remaining females.

"We are the 158th legion of the Third Reich! You are nothing to us but a means to effect our return to Germany. Do as we say and no harm will come to your brats or you. You will report any strangers to us immediately,Do you understand.?"

As one the ladies say yes. "Then leave us!return to your farms or whatever you do!"

As they leave two of the guard speak up "With no men around you must find it cold at night, be good and we will warm your beds tonight!" laughing as the women hurry out. Shivering at the thoughts they disappear to all corners of the town.

Inside "Sir how long are we going to stay here?"

"Until we are fully rested! There hasn't been any sighting of the enemy for two days now.I say we have at least a full day's rest to look forward too. With their brats in or hand the women won't cause any trouble,so we might enjoy some company before returning to the fatherland.
