He caught you off guard with his response. It pissed you off too, but you weren't sure how to react. You decided to push onwards, regardless of the consequences. You were staking your job on this.

"You're a married man, John. Why would you do this?" You spoke slowly.

"I'm a man, I have a dick, your wife wanted it." He replied.

"Even though you're married? You have a goddamn daughter." You spoke angrily.

"Yes I do, but they don't need to know." He said.

You watched him in silence for several seconds before you replied. "Well, I'm going to show them."

"You even go near them, I'll fucking fire you." You snarled as he stood up.

"You've already ruined my life, why the fuck would I care? How old's your daughter? Just made it into college right? I bet she doesn't have a care in the world. She'll be devastated to find out her parents are getting divorced. She'd probably never talk to you again when she finds out what you did to her mother." You grinned to yourself when you saw the look of horror on John's face.

"Fuck you. What do you want? Money? I'll give you... ten grand to keep your mouth shut." He spoke with a wavering finality.

"Ten grand? Is that what your marriage and life is worth?" You smirked.

"Fuck, fine. Twenty grand, take it or leave it." He sat back down and took out the USB from his laptop.
