On the chandelier

Eliza stood on the balcony with the camera crew and stared in shock at where the host of Supernatural Investigations had ended up after falling through the rotted attic ceiling above. Lauren had against all odds, fallen through the ceiling, and ended up landing on top of the old crystal chandelier that hung above the foyer. Somehow it had held and now she lay atop it as it swung back and forth dropping crystal beads which shattered with great **** on the marble floor twenty feet below.

"Are you okay, Lauren? Are you alright?" they shouted in concern.

Somewhat shaken up, but still conscious, and as far as she could tell unscathed, Lauren called back to them, "I'm okay, I'm just in a freakin' chandelier is all! Get me down!"

"We will, don't worry," Eliza reassured Lauren. Then thinking quickly she called Mark and told him what was going on. She then asked him to go get the long ladder out of the shed, the one that was used to paint the upper floors. He said he would and would be there as soon possible.

That done she turned back to Lauren and did her best to keep from smiling. Lauren looked so ridiculous lying amidst the crystals and lights with one leg tangled beneath her, the other nearly straight out, with her hair all mussed and her clothes in disarray. Hardly the perfectly coiffed and attired professional she liked to portray on television. Perhaps she thought this was an excellent opportunity to teach the spoiled little hussy a thing or two about boundaries and proper behavior...
