It took some time to enhance the writing, which resembled a form of Latin. Gathering Monroe, Rosalee, Hank and Wu together they looked at the translation in the Spice shop. Nick spoke as he read it, "Stone of Infinity. Blue Mind, Red Power, Purple Space, Yellow Reality, Green Soul and Orange Time. This is it. Everything the cloth says. Anything from the Grimm Journals, maybe something Felix had."

"Actually yes. A Fairy tale, believe it or not. A story of six knights who had six amulets who gave them complete power over six aspects of the universe. Guess which ones?" answered Rosalee as she read from a storybook.

"And the first three don't count. So how does the story end?" asked Wu as they waited for the answer.

"Five of the knights use them amulets to their benefit... but did not spend the time to master them and were destroyed by the very power they commanded. The Blue Knight had his mind totally filled with everything and completely emptied. The Purple Knight was scattered in tiny bits to the four winds. The Orange Knight was age into dust and unborn at once. The Yellow Knight wiped out himself and everything he knew from existence. The Green Knight had his soul eaten by his amulet and his body died.

Only the Red Knight survived as his amulet allowed him to become master of any and all power instantly without time spent training. He collected the other five amulets, merged them and became as if a god as his amulet allowed him to master them where the others failed.

Sounds like without the red gemstone, the other stones require training to master them for long term. Maybe years or more from the sound of it, with great care to avoid ****. But once you have control... you become master of everything. Like Aladdin's lamp or something. Ultimate power, which would be a nightmare in the Royals or Black Claws hands. Heck, I'm not sure I trust myself with that power." finished Monroe as he read over his wife's shoulder. Looking at Nick, he asked, "I hope you hid them well enough."

Nick thought back to the safe he had back in the loft, with a key code and tumbler. He hoped it would be enough along with the security features of the loft and the fact the safe was hidden. Realizing the power of the six gemstones his ancestors hid fearing their powers being used for evil. He looked at his friends and asked, "So what do we do now?"
