Ed's mom confesses to having started a new relationship while her son had been away

It had been a eventual gathering and Ed breathed a sigh of relief at finally being back at home alone with his mom, back to normality, only Idris hadn't left. He was helping Holly tidy up and seemed to know where everything was. Ed helped as well, gradually wondering what the hell was going own and why this guy hadn't left with the other guests. When the house was tidy (ish) Holly made some tea and sat down with Idris opposite Ed. She explained that she met him at the gym about three months after Ed had gone travelling, he had asked her out the first time they'd met and after a whirlwind romance he'd moved in with her about six months ago. Holly reassured Ed that she hadn't told him because she didn't want him to worry while he was away. They spoke for about hour as Ed tried to wrap his head around the changes, he realised that while at first he'd thought nothing had changed while he had been away in fact his whole world had moved beyond his recognition. Idris body language seemed hostile to Ed which his mother appeared oblivious to, he wasn't sure if he was being overly sensitive or just defensive at the abrupt change in his life. Holly went to make "her men" dinner while Idris and Ed went into the living room to watch football on the TV.

"So tell me son, what team do you support? Your mom wasn't sure and I didn't see any team colours in your room" commented Idris.

Ed suddenly felt resentful and violated at the thought of a strange guy in his room looking through his stuff "I'm not really into football and please don't call me son" he replied sullenly.

"I'll call you Shirley if I want" Idris replied laughing at his own joke "the way I see it I'm the master of this house and I'm afraid there ain't no place for you here cramping my style son."

"Don't be ridiculous, this is my home. I've lived here with my mom my whole life!" exclaimed Ed.

"Maybe that's your problem, I know you ain't had no daddy before but you should learn that you call me Sir when you address me" Idris growled calmly.

"What? Are you serious! Are you married to my mom or something?" Ed complained.

"No son, but she does call me daddy" laughed Idris.

Ed was left flabbergasted at the exchange and couldn't think of a reply to this arrogant asshole so they sat through the rest of the game in silence until Holly called them for dinner. Holly knew her son and was concerned at how quiet he was at dinner but Ed assured her that he was just tired from his journey. Holly smiled accepting his explanation and they finished their meal in silence until Ed made his excuses citing jetlag and went to his room before falling into a deep sleep.

That night he awoke to the sound of his mom screaming, alert to danger he jumped out of bed and sprinted for the door worried that his mom was being attacked but stopped dead outside her bedroom door when he realised it was cries of pleasure he could hear.

Ed quickly backed away from the door as the sounds of his mother's climax continued to build, confused and disturbed he swiftly left the house dressed in only jogging bottoms and a t-shirt to get away from the noise to clear his head. He stood in his (now Idris's?) house and looked across the cul de sac he had grown up in. To the left there was Preeti's house and on the right there were Nikki's at the apex of the curve then Nyomai's and lastly Manolo's mom Mason's house. The lights were out in Nyomai, Preeti and Nikki's houses but the living room light was on at his friends Manolo's house.

Feeling lost Ed began to walk around towards the light but while he walking past Nikki's house he heard a sound.
