Chapter 2
by rabbitjack
Who are you?
Freyr, god of virility and prosperity
A member of the now-defunct Norse pantheon, you have come to this new world with a heavy heart. Long years of war have ultimately been for nothing. You were pushed back again and again, often cursing yourself for the foolish decision to give away your sword. The fire giant Surtr hounded you and nearly fulfilled the prophesy of your **** more than once. Now, you shrug your shoulders as if throwing off a great weight. That was all left behind in the old world. Old prophesies, old power, old loses. Here stretches before you endless possibilities. The necessity of divesting your power has left all the gods coming here equal for the first time ever. New relationships will have to be decided, whether through strength of arms or guile and wit.
The Way that brought you here closes like a crack in the sky behind you, and a series of rolling grassy hills stretch out in every direction. In the distance, you can see brooding sharp-peaked mountains to the north and a lush forest to the west. East seems to be some large body of water, and south is more hills and fields. You are just wondering where to go when the sounds of a disturbance catch your ear.
Readying yourself for battle, and wishing again that you had a real weapon, you move to investigate.
What do you find?

Pick a god and build a new legend!
Author’s Intent This is a Kingdom Heart’s-esque story to support crossover character interaction. Authors will be free to put together a harem of supporters that suit their tastes. Obviously, the more characters you cram in, the less face time each will get and the more cumbersome the narrative will become. I personally don’t like stories that seek to tear down and female characters, so the intent of this story is to pick a few favorite characters and build them up over time. When you first meet a supporter, they will likely be low level and have some serious personal problems. Your job is to fix all that. Plot will always make for a better story, and generally contributes to interest in the thread as a whole.
