You declined Matt's offer. Though tempting, you couldn't betray Jessica like that. You knew she would feel distraught if she knew, and the guilt was too much. You pretended to be insulted by the offer and give Matt the cold shoulder, though let him into your house.

He looked around and nodded. "You have a lovely house." He stated then gazed at you. "Sorry, could I use your bathroom?".

You motioned down the hallway lazily with a hand then headed to the kitchen to get yourself a drink. Jessica was in the bedroom getting changed.

As you walked back into the livingroom, Jessica walked in from the hallway. You smiled at her, though she missed it as she sat down on the lounge. She seemed a bit nervous, and you didn't blame her.

As Matt reentered the room, he sat down on the lounge, leaving you an armchair to sit on. He smiled between you then cleared his throat.

"Thanks for inviting me over. If you don't mind, I'd like to get straight into it. I'm feeling a bit tired and I don't want it to affect my performance." You shrugged at his comment.

"Great! Steve, I'll start with you. Please, close your eyes and relax." You give Jessica a look, but she doesn't offer much in return. You close your eyes, and your arms.

"Very good. I want you to listen to my voice. My voice is relaxing you when you listen. You feel your shoulders relax and your arms drop... You're a little bit tired... But mostly relaxed..." You listen to his droning voice with a bit of doubt. His voice slowly fades, though you can make out some words.

"You're completely... Relaxed... control... Jessica will tell... do this for me."

You hear the last few words clearly, though everything falls into a calming buzz.

You come around what seems hours later while in bed. It was dark and silent. You don't really remember what happened. As you figure it's night time, you roll over and go to sleep.

The next morning you wake to the sound of your alarm. You turn it off and get up and ready for work. Jessica is in the kitchen. She hands you a mug of coffee.

"Good morning." She smiled at you.

"Morning." You muster a response through a stifled yawn. "How'd it go? I don't really remember."

"Well... You fell asleep during hypnosis. Matt was pretty embarrassed because he thought you were under his magic, but you started snoring." She smirked at you. "So he left soon after."

"Huh. That's a shame. Maybe he'll do it another day." You said as you drank your coffee.

"You could always ask." She said. "Could you please take the rubbish down?"

"There's four bags. I can take two down on my way to the car, I'll get the rest tomorrow morning."

"Please, I need you to do this for me. They've been sitting here for days."

You sigh then nod. "Alright, I'll take them all. Today is an early day at work, so I'll be back at three. Did you want to do anything?"

"I was going to go shopping. Did you want to come?" She looked at you curiously.

You shook your head. "I don't like shopping. You know that."

Please? I hate going alone, and everyone will be at work... Please? I need you to do this for me."
