Where are you headed?
To the airport!
Jonathan Dryer's offer is tenptation itself. You maintain your current, hefty salary, to merely sit on the board of directors and offer advice. He even appealed to your sense of duty, asking you to help him 'change the world'.
It would also give you a chance to continue working with Tara Smythe, your COO. Part of you wishes you could start a romantic relationship with her. You respect her immensely and know her very well. If not for potential work conflicts you would have taken it further already.
Still, ultimately you want to find yourself. You want to know why whenever one part of your life is going spectacularly well, the others go to hell.
You pull out your phone and check for resorts where 'money is no object'. At the top of the list is The Aeterna Spa. A hotel, resort, and spa occupying its own private island. It is expensive, but the reviews are eye opening. In a few minutes you have a two week getaway booked.
You tap the glass.
"Driver, change in plans, take me to the airport."
You call Jonathan's number and apologize. You lie and claim an illness in the family. No reason to piss off one of the most powerful men in your industry.
Where to next?
Lilith Restrained
A demons reach...
Story begins twenty two years after the outbreak of the Lilith strain. Lilith city was nuked and its demonic survivors hunted by the Department of Supernatural Defense (DSD). Eventually a vaccine is found. Still it left it's mark upon the world. Rumors of powerful demon survivors, manipulation of the virus for a variety of purposes, and cults dedicated to Lilith, still persist. You enter this world as an agent of the DSD or a COO of a pharmaceutical company. Is it the beginning of the end or merely the end of the beginning?
