Scrambling to your feet you feel so weak, so drained, the only option is to run. Pausing a second to scoop up the forked spear you are taken aback by how heavy it is. Lugging it out the door you quickly realize it is useless to you as a weapon. Slamming the door shut you find a use for it as a door stop, wedging the door shut with it to lock the demon inside. Her howls from within make you believe she is more interested on her little prizes she took from you. Chest heaving you are suddenly aware just how hot it is in here. “Holy fuck when did it get so damned hot.” Looking down at the gem on your wrist you try to concentrate on which direction you need to go. You kind of remember where you were when you met the demoness, but you aren't exactly sure from there. To you shock, you don't sense anything at all, not only that, but the gemstone itself has gone dark and cloudy. “Oops, I think I broke it in the fight. Now what?”

The door behind you bangs outward and a voice calls out, “Let me out so I can devour you little sissy.”

The voice is compelling, but if there is any magic in it, your willpower or the thickness of the door has allowed you to resist, and you take off at a quick jog, trying to be as quiet as possible. Thankfully while you seem to be currently much weaker than before, you are no less nimble and your bare feet don't make the slightest noise as you find your way back to where you met her before. Moments later you hit a corner that you recognize and cautiously peer around it, crouching low to use what little shadows there are to hide your presence. “Fuck, she was locked it wasn't she?” You whisper silently as you see the demoness prowling where you met her looking for you.

“Where are you little human? I want that soul of yours.” You watch quietly till she rounds another corner out of sight. Quickly you slip around the corner and run down the hall till you are pretty sure you have escaped her search. Not to mention you are now basically lost. You have a pretty good idea which way to go for the gem, but if it is broken you can't help but think it might be best to back track, get the hell out of here, and go find the demon that created you. Then again if it really is broken you might just be free of all that. What to do?
