“I need a cure, for a unique condition,” you say. “My powers are turned off under specific circumstances, and I need a solution.”
“And you trust us to not fuck you up,” the Technician says. “I wouldn’t, to be honest. Come with me.”
You look around the room, wondering if it could be that simple. Why did she bring you in here? The Technician leaves the room through the save exit, although another man in a lab-coat follows along behind her as well.
“You going to tell us about those specific circumstances?” the man says, walking alongside you. It doesn’t seem like he’s trying to be rude, as much as that he has better things to do.
“Yeah, it only happens when my semen touches another person,” you reply. “Got any idea about what to do?”
“We’ll just run through some diagnostics and do some scans today,” the man said.
“We’re going to need a file on a member or two of the X-Men before the actual operation,” the Technician says, turning a corner. “We have to make sure you’re got the goods first.”
Eventually, the three of you arrive in another room, filled with various medical equipment. The Technician and the doctor run through a bunch of different tests, drawing your blood and sampling your urine, as well as making you stand next to some large machines. The process takes several hours, but you tell yourself that it will be worth it. Once they remove this condition, you will be literally unstoppable.
Finally, they tell you that they’ve finished testing for the day.
“Come back tomorrow, the results should be in. We’re not sure if we’ll be ready to operate by then, chances are we won’t, but we definitely won’t if you don’t have two files ready for us to view,” the Technician says.
She quickly exits the room, leaving you alone with the doctor. You follow her going up several levels until you once again see the giant spinning box. You leap into the air, flying upwards, and phase through the steel floor as it approaches. Soaring upwards, it takes you almost a minute before you see the ground once more. You drop to the ground and sprint back to the plane, wondering what your next move should be.
