Right is right.

Melody seems determined to head to the right and you are happy to oblige her. As you get close you see a familiar chain hotel sign.

The building is immaculate, made of glass and steel. You enter into the lobby. It is posh. The floors are marble, the ceilings are high, the walls are a neutral tan with crown molding which appears to be topped in real gold leaf.

You make your way to the front desk. A perky, human looking girl with small black horns gives you a smile.

"Welcome to our Hotel, with locations in Milan, Paris, New York, and of course Hell. Do you have reservations?"

Melody turns to you. "Jody can you get me some water? I'm going to see if they can find our reservations. She gives you a wink and points at a pitcher with ice and lemon slices over by a coffee machine.

You help yourself to a glass of water and pour Melody one as well. After a long hike on the dusty road the cold water tastes heavenly.

When you return to Melody you here her chastising the desk clerk. "This sort of thing just shouldn't happen. It is unacceptable."

The clerks face turns red, which seems oddly more appropriate. "I'm so sorry miss. I do hope your room meets your approval. We have upgraded you to a suite, and the mini-bar is on us."

"That will do, don't let it happen again."

Melody huffs off toward the elevator. You both hop on and she pushes thirteen. As the door closes you pull Melody into a kiss.

As you break the kiss you whisper,"That was amazing. Melody, I don't want to keep any secrets from you. Let me tell you how I ended up in hell."

You begin to recount the tale of your time at the DSD as the elevator dings thirteen. By the time you walk into the room you are retelling the last of your tale. "And, once I had the virus my soul was gone. I did horrible things. I killed at least a hundred people, turned them into monsters."

As you finish you look around the room. It is opulent. Crystal chandeliers, an in room hot tub, and other amenities abound. You walk over to the terrace. It is easily twenty feet long, with what would have a spectacular view except it looked out on hell. "Holy crap, this place is nice!" Still you feel something is off. You feel a dark presence. The hairs on the back of your neck stand at attention. You glance over to Melody. "So how did you end up in hell?"

She frowns. "You, you are so...lucky."

"Lucky? What did you do Melody?"

"I betrayed my lover to an incubus for power. Bastard didn't even change me, just slit my throat and sent me here."

The evil you sense grows stronger. "Melody, what have you done?"

She moves in front of you blocking your exit. "You don't understand, Cecil..."

You don't wait for her to finish, there is a really nasty demon lord coming for you.

You shove Melody out of the way, hard. She lands awkwardly her head hitting the wall. She is out cold and bleeding. You hope she is ok, but you aren't prepared to stick around and find out. You take two steps toward the exit and the floor in front of you simply disappears.

"Shit!" You back up a step to try and find another route. As you back up you see the top of a bald head. A demon is rising up into your room.

His head is bald, and he wears a barbed wrought iron crown. Where each point touches his head a tiny cut oozes black blood. There is no question, this is Baal.
