Camping trip

The camping trip had been planned for a couple of weeks. Just you and three friends hanging out and camping for the weekend. Some hiking, drinks around the camp fire, and good times with friends.

Unfortunately you had to work late and couldn't travel to the camp ground with your friends. You arranged to borrow a car from a co-worker, one of the bartenders where you work as a waitress. It didn't take much to get him to lend it to you. A little bit of flirting and teasing and he was all too happy to trust you with his car. He'll probably be expecting a pay back of some kind, you think to yourself as you drive, but you'll deal with that when you have to.

The car is nothing special, a fifteen year old Ford that has seen a lot of better days. It seems to run ok, but it's unfashionable, battered appearance doesn't have much appeal. Oh well, you think, as long as it gets me there, it's all good.
