Chapter 48 by v9 v9

What do you find?

The rogue is captured and presented to you, can you be merciful?

The rogue is standing on the branch of a tree fighting off vines with a sword, the vines approach her from all different directions to try to snare her but she strikes any that come within her reach, despite her skill her efforts are hampered by some thick vines which have wrapped around her left ankle. The speed of her strikes are impressive but without the full use of her dexterity it's only a matter of time before she's overpowered. Lynn, Spriggan and you wait at the bottom of the tree watching events unfold, as the rogues sword can only as a blur but eventually as she starts to tire her luck runs out as more and more vines wrap themselves around her until she is eventually bound by them and cannot move. Covered from head to toe by the vines she is suspended into the air by them then slowly lowered to the ground beside you.

Spriggan reaches out and strokes the vines in thanks.

"I warned you what would happen rogue" you tell the rogue.

Her reply is muffled by the vines.

"As a fledgling god I am not without mercy" you summon your axe "then again, mortals respect strength and a god should enforce his laws, perhaps I should strike off your thieving hand like I did Dave01rocks, you have seen that I can make sure wounds don't heal. It's difficult to decide mercy or punishment?" You turn to Lynn "tell me Lynn, as a mortal what would you do?"

Lynn smiles slowly "I would flay her alive then wait for her to die, when she respawned I would heal her and then flay her again until I grew bored, I would then strike off her head to keep as a trophy."

"How deliciously evil you are Lynn, that's why you are one of my Chosen" you compliment her "any last words before I sentence you?" You ask the rogue.

At the Spriggan's instruction the vines unwrap from her head to allow her to speak.

"I'm in" she says with a grin.

"Not a good answer you bitch" replies Lynn spitting with rage at how easily she was paralysed by the rogue.

"You need me" protests the rogue "I'm good at what I do" she claims.

"I saw that, if I had another command collar I would bind you to me but at the moment I don't see another option than to make an example of you, as I had promised" you reply to her.

"Ok, ok, I'll give you your jewels back" complains the rogue "just don't hurt me like that."

"You could always order the zombies to gangbang her, I think I'd like to see that" suggests Lynn.

"Wait, what, no, ok, ok, whatever you want, I'm sorry" cries the rogue as tears well up in her pretty face.

"Don't believe her crocodile tears" warns Lynn.

"What are you sorry for?" You ask, your voice emotionless.

"I'm sorry for not taking your seriously, I'm sorry for stealing, I'm sorry for ever meeting you, I'm sorry any of this shit happened to me" exclaims a hysterical rogue.

"What is your name?" You ask her

"It's Mia" she answers, "please, just let me serve you, I'll be loyal, I didn't understand before but I see the light now, I'll serve you absolutely and completely, without reservation" pleads Mia.
Drawing upon your past as a member of the undead you glare at her as only you could "your hubris was your downfall, a lesson for us all."

"Overconfidence can overcome us all, eh master" comments Lynn slyly.

Unsure of her true meaning you can only answer "indeed" then pulling yourself together you command Mia to kneel before you which she does reluctantly. You make her wait as you examine her, letting her mind worry about what will happen next until you finally command "let us return" before following Spriggan back to the wagons.

With Spriggan leading the way you soon return to the carts as a humbled Mia trails behind. Sara and Annie seem to have spent the time making one of the wagons more comfortable, using the bales of silk to create cushions. When Lynn sees it she voices her appreciation of their efforts and delights in the new comfort as she sits amongst the soft silk.

You introduce Mia to the group, Annie takes an instant dislike to the competition and acts aggressive, Sara is aloof to her while Tri-Klops although still blind is suitably sleazy to her.

Feeling the need for R&R before you all go further at your instruction Spriggan leads you to somewhere you can all get cleaned up. The going is slow and tough, with no roads the carts can't easily go through and leave a trail a child could follow. The journey takes you into early evening but you eventually make if to a clearing with a small lake, you look around but this doesn't look to be the same lake as earlier yet your mind flits back to remember the **** of faithful Jack, the rush of anger is overwhelming and you stomp over to punch Dave01rocks a few times.

The three wagons are positioned to make three sides of a square leaving the fourth side as an entryway then, at your instruction, a crude roof is made to complete the shelter. Spriggan and some of the zombie then get to work restoring the wagons as Sara and Lynn start to prepare a thick broth for food. Annie and Mia wash some clothes as Dave01rocks guards Tri-Klops while you supervise everyone's activities as a leader should.

Once the broth is simmering away you command Lynn, Sara, Mia and Annie to join you by the lake, leaving the others at the camp with zombies placed around the perimeter to act as sentries. You had considered Spriggan but the needle like teeth she flashed when she smiled and not knowing what her kind did with men was rather off putting.

What do you order the women to do?
