Anna walked into her second hour English class and made her way to her seat. She saw and heard many students whispering about what had happened in the hall, and she felt her cheeks flush. She da in her usual spot, in the middle for the best view of the board, but far enough that she won't be labeled a "Teacher's Pet". However, that didn't stop her from being the one student to often correct the teacher or volunteer to assist in the lecture. Of course, she didn't feel like doing much today.

The teacher, Miss. Holt was young, in her early thirties, and wasn't the most attractive teacher at the school, but she had her share of admirers. She walked to the front of the room, and addressed her class.

"Good morning. I trust everyone had a productive evening yesterday. So, let's get started with going over last nights assignment."

The students groaned as they didn't like her assignments. She often wanted them to write a report detailing the plot and themes of any programmes they watched on television that night. Last night wasn't an exception. They went around the room, reach student choosing one program to talk about. If someone talked about a program you watched, you had to read another from your report. Eventually, it got to Anna. She had to stand to read her report. Nothing was out of the ordinary, except her demeanor was much different.

"Anna, is something wrong?" Miss. Holt asked.

Anna wanted to say nothing was wrong, but another student pointed out that she needed to give her the note. Anna stared daggers at the student, who smiled back. Anna dug into her bag and pulled out the note the principal gave her and handed it to the teacher.

"You did what?! Well, I suppose this is a fair punishment, but I can't believe you would do such a thing. Ok, well. I'll keep an eye on you for the rest of the class to make sure no one is distracted by you."

Anna took the note and continued her report. Things went well for the remainder of the class until...
