Una plucks cautiously but adroitly at the springs and wires of the trap, and after a few minutes the alarm mechanism is removed entirely.

You release a breath you weren't aware you were holding, and congratulate your Goblin lover warmly.

Una accepts your praise with a smile. "Just my role, now pick up pack and let us keep moving."

You retrieve and put on your pack, then start walking down the tunnel, Una at your heels. The way forward is clear, as you suspected from the fact that the trap was set up on your side of the entryway, but that begs the question of what is deeper in the tunnel that the trolls want to keep out. You don't know, and Una has no suggestions.

You come across a fork in the tunnel shortly. The right path curves sharply, but a fiery glow is visible from beyond. The left path slopes down.

You debate on the merits of both options. Whoever the trolls' bad neighbors are, they're almost certainly on the right-hand side. The question is if you want to gamble on if they would be friendly, or hostile in their own way. The left-hand path just seems quiet, but foreboding.
