The succubus, pissed and covered in slime and slug mucus.

You are caught off guard by Blue's quick thinking as she drags you into the shadows. You try to steady yourself as the last thing you want is to be unprepared.

Finally taking the initiative to move on your own, you silently get up and remain crouched, keeping your breath steady. Blue slides off you once you are able to move and melts into a puddle, keeping a sharp vision to the entrance you and her exited from.

You and Blue freeze in horror to see the succubus you supposedly escaped from, slowly coming into the circular room with a heavy breath and completely covered in slime and slug mucus. She tips forward slowly and it appears she tried to fly away as her black wings are protruding from her back.

With an angry scowl, she turns her head and slowly eyes her surroundings. It appears she doesn't catch sight of you in the dark corners and partially thanks to Blue since you were cleaned by her. The only problem is that you are soon going to sweat as the tension increases within the room.

"That slimy bitch! I swear I'll evaporate her as soon as I catch my meal!" the succubus growls.

Blue can't help but shiver. The succubus is far more resilient that she realized. Of course, she forgot the fact that succubi can sprout wings and fly away. Still, it appears that the seductress is weary and tired. After all, there was no way she can be in good shape after trying to escape a hungry orgy of slugs and slimes.

A new idea springs into Blue's mind. It is not without risk, but given the succubus' state, she knows that they have a better chance of engaging her now than trying to escape.

Blue crawls closer to you and elevates a portion to your ear as you stare intently, trying to compose yourself.

"I have another plan, adventurer," Blue whispers. With no ideas of your own, you listen to the slime.

She continues. "We have to engage her this time, but we have a better chance now that she seems worn. Let me take over you."

You widen your eyes and hold your breath. You know exactly what she means by engaging, but at this point, you are having a hard time finding the will to protest. The longer you wait, the sooner the succubus will find you.

Then, a terrible thought overcomes your head as you think of your pride.

Do you really want to remain indebted to this slime creature, though? She has saved you twice now and as an adventurer, it's pretty damaging. Even though it's clear that this succubus is stronger than you, she appears to be slower now and worn. Perhaps you're overthinking it...maybe now you do have a fighting chance if you keep focused and surprise her?
