Max backed up one step, and looked at him. He was wearing a sleazy black shirt, the buttons done half way down his chest, he had shorts on, his knee wrapped in a large, uncomfortable looking brace and he was leaning on a single crutch under his arm.

“Julio…” Max began, her mind working overtime to come up with an explanation on why she was dressed like this hanging out in a strip-club. She didn’t find one.

She had felt naked before, but now, with Julio devouring her with greedy eyes, she felt more naked than ever.

“Brad found a table for-” Darren had walked over stopping mid-sentence when he realized who Julio was talking to.

“Max?” Darren was taken back, a little shocked that his ex-girlfriend was a stripper. “You- You work here?”

“No- kinda- yes-” Max stuttered out, not sure what to say, “Whatever, I don't have time for this.” Max turned to walk away and Julio reached out and grabbed her arm. She twisted, ready to knock him flat on his ass when she noticed one of the bouncers watching.

“You'll make time,” Julio said leaning into her personal space. “After all, we're paying, and the customer is always right.”

Caught in a bad spot Max swallowed. She didn’t know what to do! She had little choice but to follow them back to where they were seated.

Brad was sitting at a small table, three drinks in front of him; his eyes went wide when he saw his friends had brought back Max.

Julio half stumbled into his seat but made sure he pulled Max into his lap.

“Wha-” Brad muttered not sure why Max was here,

Max faked a smile, and tried to shimmy off Julio's lap, “You ain’t a customer till you paid, buddy” she told him.

Julio looked over at Brad and stretched his hand out. Brad handed him a wad of cash, Max couldn't help but notice how stacked he was. Julio pulled out a single bill and pushed it into the waistband of Max's red thong that peeked out over the side of her golden shorts.

“There ya go, baby, now work your magic.”
