Presenting and making an exit

Connor was relieved that his erection had half-subsided by the time he was in front of the class, and his jeans had kept it from becoming too obvious anyway. The teacher nodded at Joan and him to proceed, so he frantically set up their posters and launched into the introduction.

It went smoothly, despite his distraction. Joan had drilled them too well for the presentation to not go off perfectly, and they both presented confidently and accurately. The teacher nodded along, while the rest of the class tried not to stare at the clock for the end of class too openly. Just as Joan was finishing up, Connor made the mistake of looking to the back of the class, where Alison sat alone. With everyone else's backs to her except Connor and Joan (and she was focused on her poster) she was staring at Connor, and then lifted her pen and begun to suck on it. Then to lick it.

What on earth is going on? wondered Connor, as he looked away and busied himself taking down the posters. He dawdled at the front until Joan was in place to monitor her friend's behavior, then he joined them at the back desk as the teacher read out announcements to end the class.

"Well, that went great!" beamed Joan.

"Of course." said Alison in her usual quiet tone. "I mean, Connor looked a little distracted at the start, but you both did well when you got going. I mean, you had chemistry!" Connor and Joan both gave theatrical sighs at her punnery, although Connor hoped he hadn't blushed.

The bell went, and the classroom emptied in a rush. Connor made excuses about putting the posters away to escape Joan. She'd just been so odd this morning! He filled his locker and grabbed books for math. At least he wasn't with Joan for this class. Ironically, they were both doing college level classes for the semester, but she was another level above him. It would give him time to think about what to do.

He shut his locker to find Alison behind the door, waiting for him.
