You don't hesitate

Spinning, you let out a snarl as your outstretched arm slams into a dark shape and your syringe unloads its contents into the unfortunate stalker. A feminine gasp escapes the shadow as it doubles over from the **** of your blow. "Oh my god, I'm so-" you start to apologize reflexively before the figure slams a fist into your cheek and your vision explodes into stars. You stagger but miraculously remain standing, probably a side effect of the **** you think dazedly. As your vision clears, enough moonlight shines down to reveal an irate asian woman yank the empty syringe out of her stomach. She wore a tight black bodysuit complete with a silenced pistol and radio. She looked like the badass bodyguard of a bond villain or maybe Lucy Liu if she played an assassin. And she was pissed.

Her hand went to the gun but you were faster, grabbing her arm and straight-arming her chest. To your immense surprise the wind went out of her in a Woosh and she bounced back against your hold on her arm. Gasping for air, she went for your eyes with her other hand which you easily grab by the wrist. Holding her at arms length is surprisingly easy, almost child's play. Adrenaline's a hell of a **** ... could that have been in the syringe? You didn't even get a full dose! Good thing too, your heart probably would have exploded or something.

She pulls her feet off the ground and kicks into your chest, drawing a pained grunt as your soft tissue is crushed. You lose your grip and the woman falls in a graceless heap on the ground. Once again you stagger but don't go down. In fact, you're actually enjoying yourself. You're going toe-to-toe with a ninja! Your grin vanishes as she levels the pistol at you.
