You run into three bandits

For the better part of three hours, you do not run into anyone else. This path seems to be just as abandoned as the road leading up to it.
Just as you are thinking of capturing a mountain goat so Keyla can feed in it instead of you, someone jumps from behind a big rock and blocks your path. He is a big, rough looking fellow, clad in animal hides and wields a big claymore.
He startles Aegis, but besides the initial surprise he shows no sign of fear. Like any well trained warhorse.

“Well lookie what we got here.” The man says in a low voice.

“Looks like one o them traveling merchants, Olan.” Someone else said from behind you.

You turn around and see a much smaller guy with a bow on a ledge. He already has an arrow on it, ready to shoot. Unlike his friend, he is dressed in simple leather armor.
A few steps ahead of him is another man. This one’s wearing leather armor, like the second guy, but is carrying dual swords instead of a bow.
“Nay.” The duelist says.
“And why not Will?” The guy with the bow asks.
Will just points one of his swords to your cart and says “Coffin.”
The bowman looks at the cart and replies “Shit, Will’s right. She ain’t carryin cargo but a corpse.”

Now that you think of it. This could be your chance to get rid of Keyla. All you got to do is make these guys believe you’ve got some valuables in this coffin, and they’ll just take it to their lair and Keyla with it.

“Don’t you worry about that, Pete. It’s true she’s a meagre catch, but she still got something.” Olan says.
“Ahaa, I get what ye’r saying now.” Pete laughs as he jumps down to the road. “A good lookin gall like her sure got something to offer, right.”
Then again, you’d be handing her over to a bunch of rapists. You don’t like the idea of any woman getting ****, not even a vampiress. Yet, if you don’t offer them Keyla as a fuck toy, they might just have their way with you instead. Even if they let you on your way afterward, you’d be losing your chastity as well as the connection to the Burning Rose for her.
