Well, you were definitely boss-material now

It was very cathartic, squishing dozens of the terrified spiders as they scurried for cover, but in the end you took pity on the poor creatures and allowed the majority of them to flee back to their webs. It takes you almost till sunrise before you make it back, your immense size kept getting you tangled up in trees. When you finally peered into your hollow from above the bramble lair the sun was brushing the tops of the trees. Dana is angrily pacing the border of your lair, awaiting your return. You almost give her a heart attack when you clear your throat, "AAAH! AHH!" Dana, calm- "AHH!"

After some gentle reassurances, you're able to get her to calm down enough for you to tell your story. She miraculously sits through the whole thing, looking up at you in awe as you relate the tremendous power of the witch. "Wow....who was she? I've never even met a hero who could keep an entire zone of monsters at bay at the same time, let alone a spell caster!" Oh, what had she called herself...Miera the God Touched was what she told the spiders. Dana freezes for a moment before laughing uproariously. What's so funny? She wipes a tear from her eye, "Miera the God Touched is a myth from the high level zones. She's supposed to be the champion of Logaros the Erudite, god of knowledge-seekers. But everyone knows she's just a story the followers of Logaros made up to unify the guilds." Holy political propaganda Batman!

I definitely didn't fight a story last night: I fought a legend. She stares at you expressionlessly, "...Really?" Couldn't resist. But all jokes aside, how do you explain this much XP? You rise to your full height, pushing aside tree branches as you go. She swallows hard, looking unsettled. "If you really did fight and kill Miera the God Touched..." Oh dear. ...Logaros is probably not too pleased with me. You stare at each other for a tension-filled moment.

How do you feel about leaving this zone? She perks up but then gives you a questioning look, "Monsters can't leave their spawn zones, how would you..." Her eyes widen in shock, "Are you setting me free?!" Uh.....no. Sorry. I was actually going to see if I was high-level enough to cross the zone-boundary. "Oh. Right." As she calms down she stares off into the distance, confusion written on her features. You don't think she was quite sure how she'd felt at the prospect of freedom.
