Chapter 7

Is the journey eventful?
Nothing Until the River
So you and Valerie set off. With her tits still sticky from your cum, she decided to leave her shirt off. That was perfectly fine for you. Every time she caught you staring up at them, she would just giggle and give them a little shake or bounce. One time you got so distracted you walked into a tree. Because of her wanted status and the fact that she was half naked, the two of you had decided to walk through the forest instead of actually take the path that Heroes normally walked.
Getting to Lindleton would take nearly two days, and at least a day to reach the river. Val took the time to tell you more about herself as you traveled. She had been a PKer since the last game she played. She had worked with a partner back then, but since starting this game she had been trying to go solo. Until she met you, at least. After a while, she fell silent and you started telling her about why you had decided to become stronger. Had you not had to put up with the name calling and constantly being attacked for no reason, you might have never met her.
You let your voice trail off after that last revelation. You met her because of everything bad that had happened to you. Maybe it wasn't such a bad life after all. You are snapped from your thoughts by her giggling and looking down at you with a warm smile.
Night had fallen by the time you reached the river. Val pulled some supplies out of her bag and soon had a fire going. Next she pulled out some food and began heating it. Soon, you were both happily enjoying a meal from her supplies. After the meal, Val went to the river to bathe and clean the dried cum from her tits. You decided to just relax by the fire until she was finished. She was humming happily while washing up. Between the fire and the full belly, you started to drift off to sleep. But your rest was interrupted by Valerie screaming.
She was being attacked by a mass of tentacles coming out of the water. Each tentacle was covered in small cup like suckers that the creature could use to help hold its prey. You were shocked to see a monster like this, a kraken, here. Even a small one like this was rare in rivers. But that wasn't your real concern. Val was under attack and it didn't matter what it was. You were charging forward in an instant, and launching yourself through the air. Val was trying to escape from some of its tentacles and she slid under one wild swing. A second tentacle was about to crash down on her when your leaping tackle hit the tentacle just moments before it could land on her.
Val scrambled towards her fire and the bag of gear while you bit and tore at the offending tentacle. From under the water, the beast's head thrashed in pain. Another tentacle grabbed your tail and tossed you onto the shore. Pain flared through your body, but you weren't done yet. You were still recovering when two more tentacles came flying towards you. Before you could react, a red ball flew over your head and hit one of them, exploding and setting both of them on fire. A shrill cry came from the river and the burning tentacles were pulled back into the water.
Val was suddenly at your side, putting a vial of liquid to your lips and telling you to drink. You did so and felt your energy quickly returning. You nod in thanks, for both the potion and the Bomb Ball she had used to save you. The Kraken was small, but it was still at a level higher than your own. You weren't sure you could win a straight out fight, but it had attacked Val and that made you willing to try. You were about to charge again when she pulled her lute from behind her back and began playing. Power surged through you as the song grew stronger, you realized then that she was using one of her abilities to boost your strength and speed. With the knowledge that she was backing you up, you suddenly felt like victory was possible.
More tentacles rose from the river and without hesitating, you charged.
Can you win?
Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
