Date in the Cage 2
The shutter click seemed to leave an aftershock suspended in the room. My stomach twisted so violently that the air stalled in my throat. The bright glare of the display reflected in Nadja’s eyes as she reviewed the shot.
On the screen, every detail was ruthlessly crisp: the metallic sheen of the cylinder, the raw crimson marks pressed along my pubic bone, the crumpled grey sweatpants bunched at my knees, and the padlock slicing my respectable life cleanly in two.
"Don't send it…," I whispered, my voice little more than a hoarse croak. "Nadja, please… you don't know what you're doing."
"Quite the contrary," she answered, velvety smooth, without lifting her eyes from the glass. Her thumbs danced across the screen with practiced ease. "I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm relieving you of your excuses."
She turned the phone so I had no choice but to look. The chat thread with Loona was already open. The photo was queued in the composition bar.
Beneath it, she typed slowly, letter by letter, forcing me to read along with every keystroke:
*Found him. Now what are we going to do with him?*
An icy shiver tore down my spine. In that razor-thin fraction of time, two realities slammed together with full force: naked terror at total exposure, and the dizzying certainty that Loona had orchestrated this entire game, steering me straight to this exact point. But Nadja didn't know that. In her mind, she was the one seizing the reins.
Her thumb hovered over the blue send arrow.
*Click.*
The message was gone. The small checkmark beside it instantly turned grey.
Nadja laid the phone face-up on the coffee table, squarely between the two steaming mugs. She didn't stand up. She remained on her knees directly before me, bracing her hands against my thighs, leaning in so far her forehead nearly grazed my cheek.
"And now we wait," she murmured, her fingers digging lightly into my flesh. "Let's see how long it takes your mistress to realize her secret isn't a secret anymore."
My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird. Ten seconds dragged by. Twenty. The ticking of the hallway clock seemed to amplify with every passing stroke. My gaze remained glued to the dark glass resting on the timber.
Then, after a minute that felt like an eternity, the display flared to life.
A short vibration hummed across the wood. A preview banner appeared.
Loona had replied.
A superior smirk curled Nadja’s lips as she reached out, unlocked the device, and scanned the text.
The smirk didn't dissolve into mockery. It froze dead.
Her sea-blue eyes widened, darting across the lines as the color drained from her cheeks. The effortless, teasing arrogance vanished instantly, leaving behind bare, unadulterated shock.
"What…," she whispered tonelessly, staring at the message before slowly lifting her head toward me. "What the hell is this supposed to mean?"
She turned the screen to face me.
There it stood, composed in Loona’s signature precise, clinical cadence:
*You're twenty minutes behind schedule, Nadja. I told you yesterday not to let up. Unzip your bag—the key is in the interior side pocket. See how far he can be pushed, then send me the video.*
The air in the living room felt instantly sub-zero.
Those few lines burned like acid into my mind: *You're twenty minutes behind schedule, Nadja… the key is in the interior side pocket… send me the video.*
My head went numb. I stared at the illuminated glass, unable to draw breath. Every certainty, every assumption from the past few days spun in a dizzying loop. Loona hadn't merely tolerated Nadja—she had briefed her. The meet at the Maybachufer, the boot against my shin, the calculated probing, today's invite… none of it had been an accident. It was a meticulously choreographed execution of my pride.
On her knees before me, Nadja didn't stir.
The triumphant huntress who, seconds earlier, believed she had unearthed a forbidden vulnerability was gone. Her blue eyes flicked between the text and my shattered expression.
"She… she slipped the key into my bag?" Nadja whispered hoarsely, almost disbelieving. Her voice carried no trace of mockery; there was only the raw fascination of a woman realizing she was an instrument in a far larger, darker design.
Slowly, as if under hypnosis, she lowered the phone and turned toward the sofa arm where her brown leather shoulder bag rested. With trembling fingers, she pulled the strap, brought the bag down to the rug, and unzipped the narrow interior pocket.
Her hand reached inside.
A faint, crisp chime echoed through the quiet room.
When her hand withdrew, resting flat on her palm was a tiny, notched brass key attached to a slender black ribbon. The exact same ribbon that had rested on Loona’s bedside table that morning.
Nadja let out a low, raspy chuckle—half-overwhelmed, half-intoxicated by the sheer audacity of it all.
"She used me," she murmured, bringing the key to her lips, eyeing me with an expression that set my blood boiling instantly. The disbelief in her eyes hardened into a cold, predatory resolve. "She used me as a tool to dismantle you. And she wants a video."
She didn't stand. Crawling an inch closer, she pushed my bare thighs even further apart with both hands and angled the phone on the coffee table so the camera pointed directly at my groin. A small red dot pulsed on the display.
Recording.
"Alright then, John," Nadja purred, her tone suddenly ruthless, thoroughly stepping into the role Loona had assigned her. "If your mistress wants to see just how far you can be pushed… we certainly shouldn't disappoint her."
Pinching the solid brass padlock between her thumb and index finger, she tilted the body up and guided the slender tip of the key into the keyway.
A quiet metallic scrape.
My heart pounded in my ears, the steel compressing my trapped tissue, and deep down I knew that a single turn of that key would obliterate the final boundary between my old life and total, irrevocable submission.
The faint scrape of metal cut off abruptly.
Nadja didn't turn the key. Instead, she paused, lips parted, her sea-blue eyes trailing slowly up from the lock to my sweat-dampened face.
A slow, deliberate smile broke across her features.
"No…," she whispered softly, almost to herself. With a faint click, she withdrew the tiny key from the cylinder. "That would be far too easy. And far too merciful for a liar like you."
She rose, smoothing a blonde lock behind her ear, and looped the black ribbon around her index finger. The small piece of brass swung back and forth before my eyes—so close I could have reached out, yet as distant as a star.
"Loona wrote: *See how far he can be pushed*," Nadja murmured, stepping around the coffee table to stand directly in front of me. Her expression had turned cold, stripped of hesitation. "Do you honestly think I'm unlocking this cage after you made a fool of me yesterday by the canal? Telling me it was a key ring. Trying to play me for an idiot."
I sat frozen, the grey jersey still bunched around my knees, the steel heavy and cold between my legs. "Nadja, please… I had no choice…"
"Wrong answer," she cut in sharply, her tone brooking no dissent. She pointed the toe of her leggings toward the floorboards before her. "Strip. Everything. No shirt, no socks. Then off the sofa. On all fours."
My breath seized. My eyes darted to the phone screen on the table. The red recording indicator blinked steadily. *Loona sees everything. She will watch every second of this.*
With unsteady fingers, I caught the hem of my shirt, dragged the fabric over my head, and tossed it beside the cushions. Then I kicked the sweatpants free from my ankles, pulled off my socks, and shoved the heap of clothes aside.
Completely naked. The cool air of the old apartment struck my skin like an accusation; between my thighs, the polished alloy was the only foreign object against my body.
Slowly, I slid off the velvet upholstery onto the bare parquet. The boards were chilled beneath my kneecaps. Bracing my palms flat against the wood, I lowered my head and straightened my spine. The cylinder hung heavy, swaying with every motion, clicking faintly against the floorboards.
Nadja stepped closer, her white cotton socks coming to a halt inches from my hands.
"Crawl," she ordered quietly, picking up her mug from the table and taking a sip. "Across the room. Straight to the mirror on the wall. Let's see how gracefully you move when your obedience is put to the test."
Shame ran through my veins like molten lead. A grown man, naked, locked up, crawling on all fours across an acquaintance's living room while a camera captured every single breath.
I moved one hand forward, then the other, knees scraping across the floorboards. With every pace, the rigid silicone ring bit into my pubic bone, the steel bars rubbed, and the padlock swung like a heavy pendulum beneath my pelvis. Yet beneath the naked humiliation, beneath the physical drag of crawling, the poison flared again: the realization that this was the design—that before this woman I was reduced to a creature without pride—made the flesh inside the tube surge against the confinement.
I reached the large standing mirror set in its gilded Baroque frame.
"Stop," she called from behind.
Soft footsteps approached over the wood. Stopping right behind me, she seized the back of my neck and hauled my head upward.
"Look at it, John," she breathed into my ear, her breath hot against my cheek.
I looked into the glass. On all fours. Bare. Cheeks flushed dark red, eyes glassy. And between my parted knees, the cold glint of my containment, starkly illuminated by the afternoon light.
Nadja rested her right foot gently on my spine, right between my shoulder blades, applying steady, unrelenting downward pressure until my chest was nearly flush with the floorboards.
"Now thank me for taking the time to deal with you," she demanded with soft derision, sliding her foot down until her heel rested right beside my cheek. "Kiss my socks. Lick the dust from the toes. Show Loona in the video how well you've taken your lesson."
The white cotton weave of her sock was millimeters from my lips. I felt the heat of her foot, caught the faint leather scent of the shoes she had stepped out of at the door, and the dry trace of worn fabric.
My breath broke unevenly against her instep. The pressure in my temples hammered to the rhythm of my pulse.
"I'm waiting, John," Nadja murmured from above, her fingers knotted tightly into my hair.
I didn't close my eyes. I forced myself to watch my own undoing in the reflection.
Lowering my head, I pressed my lips to the tip of her sock. The weave was slightly coarse against my skin. Parting my lips, I traced the seam with the tip of my tongue, licking across the fine dust gathered from the floorboards.
A muffled, raspy groan escaped my throat. The sheer indignity of the act was so total that tears stung my eyes—and simultaneously, the trapped flesh inside the cylinder bucked with such intensity that the silicone edges drove sharp into my groin. The cage held firm, refusing an inch of expansion, turning the degradation into a scalding, physical ache.
A visible shudder passed through Nadja. Her grip tightened in my hair, pressing my face harder into her foot.
"Good boy…," she muttered, her voice dropping into a lower register, thick with a newly awakened curiosity. "Look at you. Playing the untouchable guy by the canal yesterday, and today you're licking the dust off my feet like you've been doing it your entire life."
She slowly drew her foot back, stepped away, and released my hair. I remained bowed over my knees, forehead resting near the timber, fighting for air.
The black ribbon still swung around her index finger as she circled back around me, the brass key glinting in the lamp light. Stopping in front of me, she crouched down, studying my posture with a dissecting gaze.
"Turn around," she commanded softly. "Sit back on your heels. Part your legs wide. Let's see just how wound up you really are."
Swallowing dryly, I shifted on my knees and sank back onto my heels, spreading my thighs, hands flat on my knees. Stripped bare, sweat-sheened, entirely defenseless. Between my legs, the stainless-steel cylinder hung rigidly, the narrow side slots damp from the drops gathering within.
Nadja took her smartphone from the coffee table, stepped up, and aimed the lens dead at my groin. With her other hand, she took hold of the cylinder.
Her cool fingers wrapped firmly around the steel.
A hiss escaped my teeth, my hips twitching upward on reflex, but her grip was iron. She tilted the lens so every detail was captured—the brass padlock, the angry flush along my skin, and the stubborn pulse inside the tube.
"Do you see this, Loona?" she spoke into the phone's microphone with silky mockery, lifting the lock and rattling it lightly against the steel. "He's practically begging. He's wound so tight he's about to burst. And he complied without a word."
She stopped the recording with a tap, slipped the phone into the pocket of her knit sweater, and let the key dangle on its ribbon right before my eyes.
"Do you know the best part, John?" she breathed, leaning down until her lips brushed my earlobe. "Loona gave me the key… but she didn't say a single word about *when* I have to use it."
A cold spike of dread shot through my limbs.
I stared at her, eyes wide, as a sharp, unyielding smile spread across her face.
The soft chime of the brass striking her manicured nails sounded like a deadbolt sliding home.
My mouth hung slightly open, my throat parched. "Nadja…," I forced out. "Loona said…"
"Loona said to see how far you could be pushed," she cut in. Her voice had dropped all trace of playfulness; it was quiet, calculated, carrying a new edge of detachment. "And we are only getting started."
She let the black ribbon slip down into the neckline of her sweater. The cold brass disappeared between her breasts, resting directly against her bare skin, entirely out of reach.
I watched the glint of metal vanish. My pelvis hummed with unresolved pressure. The cylinder sat relentlessly tight, the silicone ring straining against my pubic bone, and the disgrace of kneeling before her while she wore the key drove the heat straight to my hairline.
Nadja turned and walked slowly toward the kitchen.
Her leggings traced the line of her hips with every step. I remained motionless on my heels, thighs parted as ordered, each heartbeat pulsing against the steel cage.
From the kitchen came the sound of a cupboard opening, followed by the dull thud of a bottle set onto the counter. When she returned, she carried a bulbous wine glass in one hand and an uncorked bottle of red in the other. She settled onto the velvet sofa, crossing her legs, leaning back into the cushions.
Her eyes rested on me—measuring, demanding, savoring the complete exposure.
"You look thirsty, John," she said softly, pouring the glass half-full. The aroma of heavy, dry red wine drifted through the room. "Too bad you haven't earned a single thing yet."
She set the glass onto the sofa arm right beside her.
"Crawl over here," she instructed with a casual flick of her hand. "To my feet. Sit on the rug between my legs. Hands flat on the floor, palms up."
I obeyed immediately. The humiliation of sliding across the floorboards on all fours was no longer an obstacle; it had become the very fuel clouding my senses. Moving before the sofa, I slid into the space between her legs and sank down, laying my hands flat on the carpet, palms open in complete surrender.
Nadja took a sip of wine, held it for a beat, and swallowed slowly. Then she leaned forward. Her hand traced across my shoulder, down my spine, pressing me gently but firmly until my chest was nearly resting against her knees.
With her other hand, she reached for the cylinder again.
She didn't take hold gently; she clamped her hand around the cold tube and drew it forward, pulling the silicone ring taut against my skin. A choked groan slipped from my lips, my forehead dropping against her thigh.
"Feel that?" she purred, her breath warm against my temple. "How completely powerless you are? You can't do a thing. Not one. If I felt like it, I could FaceTime Loona right now and show her how I'm holding you. Or I could call Timo."
At Timo’s name, my entire frame locked up.
"No…," I gasped, panic tearing through my chest. "Not Timo… please, Nadja…"
"And why not?" she whispered, her nails scraping lightly along the steel. "Don't you think your best mate ought to know what a dripping, locked-up wreck you've turned into? He'd love it. He'd come right over, crack a beer, and watch me put you through your paces."
She released the metal, picked up her wine glass, and took another drink—retaining the liquid in her mouth.
Catching me firmly by the nape of my neck, she tilted my face upward and parted her lips.
A thin stream of red wine spilled from her mouth, splashing across my lips, running down my chin, and dripping onto my bare chest.
"Drink it," she ordered hoarsely. "Take it from my lips, or lick it off the rug."
Nadja’s other hand reached down. Her manicured nails clamped around the cold metal of the cylinder, wrenching it forward in a short, sharp pull.
A muffled cry caught in my throat, tears springing to my eyes as the jolt tore through my pelvis.
"Speak," she hissed into my ear, her nails digging into the silicone. "Or Timo is our next call. You have three seconds."
"I…," I stammered toward the phone.
Nadja paused. She studied my trembling face, saw the unfeigned panic in my eyes—and the cruel edge on her lips shifted, softening into a mocking, superior detachment.
She didn't let go of the cylinder, but the violent tension broke. Slowly, she withdrew the hand holding the smartphone and tapped the screen to stop the video, discarding the recording without sending it.
"Oh, John…," she murmured, shaking her head as she tossed the phone casually onto the cushion beside her. "Look at you. Terrified that someone might actually pull the rug out from under your feet. Don't worry, I have zero interest in exposing you to your mates. This… this is far too entertaining to share with anyone out there."
A ragged exhale broke from my chest, relief surging through me—though it barely lasted a second.
Her fingers closed once more around the surgical steel between my thighs. This time there was no sudden jerk; instead, she lifted the cylinder gently, almost tenderly, letting the brass padlock click softly against the bars.
"Why would I call anyone when I have you all to myself?" she breathed, leaning forward to trail her fingertips along my tense thighs. "A grown man, stripped bare, shivering on my rug, sealed up like an unruly pet. You don't want the real world barging in here anyway. This is exactly what you crave: being a plaything. For Loona—and for me."
Reaching into her neckline, she drew out the black silk ribbon, letting the brass key dangle in the light.
"We are starting over from the beginning," she decreed with silky authority. "Stand up, John."
I swallowed dryly, my knees aching from the floor, but I didn't dare hesitate. Forcing myself upright, stark naked, skin stained with spilled wine, the stainless steel bumped sluggishly against my groin with every shift of weight.
Nadja remained on the sofa, crossing her legs, studying me from head to toe like an object on display.
"Hands flat against the wall behind you," she commanded, gesturing toward the plaster beside the mirror. "Feet wide apart. Face the wall."
I complied in silence, stepping to the wall, pressing my palms against the paint, and planting my feet wide. My back, the fading marks on my skin, and my exposed posture were completely surrendered behind me.
Soft, sock-footed steps approached across the parquet.
She stepped flush behind me. I felt the ambient warmth of her body, caught the rich note of her perfume. Her hand rested flat against my lower back, trailing down to trace the raised marks across my skin.
"She trained you well," she whispered against the back of my head. "These marks are still fresh. She worked you over yesterday, didn't she?"
"Yes…," I muttered into the plaster, burning with shame.
"And yet here you are again. Running after me. Ready to make a fool of yourself for a smile."
In one fluid motion, her hand slid between my parted thighs from behind. Her cool fingers found the padlock, lifted it, and let it fall—click, clack. The sound rang sharp in the quiet room.
Then I felt something cold and pointed press directly against the sensitive skin of my groin.
The key.
Nadja didn't insert it into the lock. She dragged the notched edge of the bit slowly over bare skin—up the inner thigh, skimming past the silicone ring, straight across my pubic bone. Every stroke left goosebumps in its wake.
"Do you feel it, John?" she breathed, her breath hot on my neck. "This is your release. Right here. Just one turn. But you aren't getting it. Not today. And not from me."
Inside the cylinder, the trapped flesh pulsed with desperate, agonizing intensity, the confinement bearing down with intolerable weight.
