Epilogue

Author note: As i don't know if i'll ever fully finish the story. You know how life gets. I wanted to at least provide an ending that clears up how everything worked out so at least there's some form of finality if im never able to properly finish. THIS DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY. If you haven't finished Day 2 and care about surprises then i recommend not reading this yet. There is a further along spoiler but i don't know if i'll end up writing tgat far so sorry if i do.

*30+ years later*

You walk out on to the deck of your house. It is a beautiful Spring afternoon where the sun is shining. Sitting down at the table you see your beautiful wife enjoying a cup of coffee. Tia still looked just as amazing im her mid-fifties as she did when you first met her. Blonde hair glistening as the sun shone on her. She turned around and smiled at you. "Afternoon babe. You finished them?" You smile revealing a plate of perfect Profiteroles setting them down on the table. It was a cause for celebration.

You and Tia had helped your youngest daughter move out yesterday to attend university doing a psychology degree. Your eldest Son was doing excellently as an accountant in a large firm, your eldest daughter was playing professional football (soccer) in the Womens Super League for Aston Villa. Meanwhile the 3rd child, your youngest son had inherited some musical talent playing guitar in a band touring the world. For the first time in over 25 years your house was just occupied by the 2 of you. The sex was less frequant than when you first got together but you 2 made a rule that you would have sex at least once every 2 weeks. Even if it was a quickie in the car before heading home after work. But what you both enjoyed most were the family movie nights. Just snuggling together on the sofa, kids on the floor or other chairs watching a film. As they grew older they tried to get out of this monthly tradition. You both said that they may be willing to excuse other attempts at family time, but this one unless it was an emergency must be kept. Once the kids realised they couldn't escape it they started to enjoy it more.

"Cheers to being great parents" you say as you clink your coffee mugs together. You were both retired now after you had won 32.4 million in the lottery in your mid-forties. A 6 month world cruise beckoned for the 2 of you next week. And you wouldn't be alone.

You didn't see them as regularly as you wished. But you were still great friends with the girls from the trip. Jessica and Michael had been married just as long as you guys. Like you they had 4 kids. However, they had 4 girls all named after the clique. Tia the eldest, Polly and Kelly the middle twins and Mina the youngest and very recently were the first out of the group to welcome a grandchild as their daughter Mina gave birth to a healthy baby boy. You weren't going to be far behind them as your eldest son recently revealed he and his wife were expecting.

Mina and Jordan also got married. They ended up with 2 kids. A boy and a girl but no grandkids at the moment but both of them were in very serious relationships. And much like Mina and Jordan they were all very blunt with their speech.

Polly and Brandon ended up getting back together. You remember the night Brandon appeared at Polly's door. You and Tia just finished having a threesome when Brandon said he'd rather have a kid than no Polly and proposed on her doorstep. True to his word Brandon gave Polly a beautiful baby boy who grew up to be a bit of a player. But eventually realised he only had eyes for one girl... and very recently had a baby with Jessica's daughter Mina.

Kelly was the only one who didn't end up with someone from the trip. She ended up working as a teacher and met another teacher there getting married in her 30s. She also gave birth to a baby boy which she named after her childhood best friend... you.

Thanks to your lottery win you had paid for everyone to come on this cruise with you guys and gave them enough to make sure they'd never need to work a day in their life again. You smiled at Tia. "Imagine if there had been a spare room. Would any of this have happened?" You ponder. Tia grabs your hand and squeezes. "Yeah it would have... i think i would have eventually grown a pair." She smiles warmly.

Your tender moment is broken up by some yelling by your fence. You look over and see a taller Asian girl in the local high school uniform tormenting a smaller nerdy looking white student. "Gosh Lewis you are such a fucking loser. All you are good for is carrying books and getting my projects done for me. I still can't believe my parents made me invite you to my 18th birthday party last week just because we are born on the same day in the same hospital. I can't wait for graduation and we can never see eachother again" She scoffs as Lewis tries to keep up. Tia stands up from her chair.

"Hey you there. What's your name?" The girl looked at her strangely. "Mitsu" the reply came back from her. "Well Mitsu, I used to bully my now husband a lot when i was in Uni. It was because i didn't know how to tell him i liked him. Believe me girl its so much easier if you are just honest." Mitsu looked at Tia disgusted then looked at Lewis. She walks over to him knocking the books out of his hands before picking him up amd kissing him. Lewis looked very surprised but didn't fight it because he liked it... or couldn't move... or both.

Mitsu released the kiss and put him down. "Fucking twerp" she giggled ruffling his hair. "Btw Im going to the same uni as you. I was going to pretend we 'accidentally' got into the same one" She winked as Lewis blushed. "Sorry I was so mean. I've liked you for a while but didn't know how to say it. I guess that frustration came out on you." She said giving him a hug. As she released Lewis grinned. "Well seeing as you took my first kiss i'm going to take something from you. Come on, my parents aren't home." Lewis grinned grabbing Mitsu's arm and pulling her along as Mitsu put her hand in front of her mouth and giggled. "Ooooh i like this side of you." She said still giggling as they walk out of hearing range.

Tia sits back down and you smile at her again. "I could have used that back when i was bullying you. Hopefully they have as much fun as we did." She grins kissing your cheek. You smirk. "Hey... what do you mean did? We aren't done. I've got left over cream and a cheerleader outfit in there with your name on it." You say standing up and pulling her inside.

"You are the best thing to ever happen to me. I love you (your name)." Tia says with a tear rolling down her cheek. "Thank you for all the wonderful years we have had and are going to have. Thank you for never getting bored of me."

You well up a bit too. "Thank you for being the greatest thing on earth for me. I could never get bored of you. I love you forever and ever Tia."

*This is an ending. However i had an idea for a second ending so you can use either or as your ending. Both can be canonical endings as the second ending will essentially end like the first but will allow you to essentially replay the story twice if you wanted to try some alternate paths.
