Day 9

Chapter 9 by Krevmh Krevmh

Day 9 - Metroid - Body Modification, Kink Discovery, Living Clothes

"Error processing request." The computer told her.

"Well, that's problematic," Samus replied, naked and dripping wet.

She'd done her best to towel off after her bath, but her thick, titanium-blonde hair absorbed and then held water like a sponge sometimes. Even after wrapping it in a towel and leaving it there for the better part of five minutes, as soon as she'd fed the towel into the laundry chute, her hair had started dripping down her back and onto the floor. It was a minor annoyance. One that would have easily been solved with a new Zero Suit. Not that she minded walking around naked, she did it plenty on her own ship, but-

"Override the error." Samus commanded.

"Negative." The ship responded flatly. It usually didn't ignore an override.

"No negative, override." Samus frowned. "I'm expecting a video transmission soon, I need to be dressed."

"Negative override, error level Alpha." The ship didn't care.

"Alpha?" Samus did some quick mental calculations. "We have an intruder aboard and that isn't a situation you think would be improved by giving me clothing?"

"Error is possible contamination in Zero Suit fabrication suite." Her computer chirped back.

"Contamination in suit fabrication?" Now Samus was interested. She got another towel from the bathroom and re-wrapped her hair. There unfortunately wasn't another for her body, but she could lie about video issues for the transmission. "Explain the error."

"Foreign biological material detected in suite. Full decontamination required before error override allowed." The ship explained.

"More detail. How does foreign biological material get into suit fabrication?" Samus sat down in her terminal chair and pulled up a ship's diagnostics, but suit fabrication was a system that had been added on, it didn't show. "How does foreign biological material get into that specific suite? And how does it contaminate the suite badly enough to justify an alpha-level error?"

"Suite operates at high biological cost." The ship's computer minimized her error report and pulled up its own diagnostics. Samus sat back. "Zero suits are semi-biological material. Suite processors filter most foreign matter, filter failure in this caes."

Samus was, of course, aware that her Zero Suit wasn't clothing in the most traditional of senses. The towels weren't actually towels either. In deep space, especially on long haul travel, laundry water became exponentially harder to filter than any other fluid, including her own gross biological processes. Everything had to be fabricated or made of the kind of material that could be sanitized via fire. The Zero Suit was made mostly of other Zero Suits, but it naturally picked up sweat and dead skin and hair from her as she wore it. Instead of having to deal with that, the suite was designed to make a semi-biological suit that functioned almost like a second skin. It breathed better than any fabric, could fit more snugly than any fabric, and could even take damage better than any fabric. But as a result it was always a little weird to put a new one on for the first time. It was the best answer to a bad situation. It also let the ship recycle other, less pleasant to think about things into the suits as well. Truly, never anything wasted in a sealed deep-space environment. Aside from energy.

"How did something contaminate the suit suite without also contaminating me?" Samus grabbed a tube of nutrient-dense paste from beside the terminal. Another thing better not to think about the origins of."

"Likely diagnosis; computer error." The ship chirped.

"And how did that happen?" Samus did a slight double-take. It wasn't weird for the ship's computers to make a mistake, but it was weird to hear them talk about doing so openly.

"Suite recyclers must intake external biological material occasionally to prevent copy decay." The ship showed her two planets she had visited on the star chart, though she'd visited them months apart. "Usually done as background process during long stays ashore, last done at locations listed on terminal. Likelihood; unknown species that slipped past usual methods of detection."

"Oookay," Samus frowned and sucked the nutrient tube. "But how did the suite recyclers not kill it?"

"High possibility that lifeform sophisticated or unique enough to slip through scanners also adaptable enough to slip through recycling." The computer answered neutrally.

"Whatever, accidents happen." Samus shrugged. She didn't have any way to discipline her ship's computer or anything. "How long to decontaminate?"

"Full decontamination process involves destroying all currently-fabricated suits and purging possibly infected material, then medical-grade purification of all systems implicated before final inspections. Process will take no fewer than two hundred fifty hours, and cannot be completed until a landing has been made to collect new external material. Possibility of a residual infection within User's biology is not impossible."

"Do you currently detect any errors with the existing suits or with the user?" Samus rolled her eyes slightly. As scary as the situation possibly was, it was the computer's programming to catastrophize everything and always take the maximum amount of precaution, even in situations where things didn't call for it. Hell, ESPECIALLY in those situations.

She waited a minute for the soft hum she recognized as scanning to finish. "Negative, no errors detected in user or existing suits. However, corruption could be continuing to evade detection."

"Well, then you're going to need to belay that decontamination, at least partially." Samus gestured idly. "We'll be landing on Sevah in five days, and you can do a full purge and decontamination then, as well as take in whatever biological material you need, but I'll need to be dressed. I can't just wear my armor with nothing underneath, and Sevah is demilitarized, so they'd frown on me wearing my armor at all. I need at least five suits set aside, probably more like ten, it might be a long stay."

"I must advise against this." The computer's tone remained flat and neutral, but Samus was well aware that she was coming as close to stressing her ship out as was possible. "Combination of sensor and recycler invasion suggest species potentially biologically adapted to surviving within Suit Fabrication Suite. Contact with such a species could prove dangerous."Day 9 - Metroid - Body Modification, Kink Discovery, Living Clothes

"Are there any records of such a species?" Samus asked boredly, kicking her chair back and forth one way and then another, looking down her torso and occasionally drumming her fingers on herself.

"No," The ship responded flatly. "No Federation records of a species which-"

"And what would you put the likelihood of that being the case at versus, say, a false positive?" Samus couldn't help smirking a little.

"Fifty to one, in favor of false positive," The computer said after an almost sullen silence.

"Right, well," Samus sat up. "Then set aside ten suits for me and purge the rest, belay the full decontamination until we've landed on Sevah, and override the error. If if makes you feel any better, you can subject the suits and the user to hourly scans until you're done purging."

"System incapable of feeling. Request user acknowledge possibility that - if wrong - infected user will make full decontamination impossible without total ship purge. Such a process would take-"

"User acknowledges possibility." Samus was starting to get annoyed. "Now, override code Zebes, give me some damn clothes already!"

The computer gave her a sound like a muted error message, but then her ship hummed as a Zero Suit came out of the wall and into the waiting chute. Admittedly, when Samus picked it up, she squinted at it and felt a moment of hesitation. She couldn't make out anything wrong with it, but that didn't mean there wasn't anything wrong with it. For a second, she had some second thoughts.

"Samus," The computer's tone had completely changed, as if it had no memory of the previous conversation. "We are receiving a call from Sevah."

"Shit," Samus muttered, "Wait until I'm dressed and in place, then accept."

She quickly slipped her leg into the suit, hopping around until she got it down at the start of the leghole. Then she stepped the other leg in. That was, most of the time, the hard part. Samus stretched and pulled the suit up to around her waist, wiggling her feet down into the legs of it one after the other. When she'd finally gotten it more or less up around her waist fully, she popped the first seal, which tightened everything into place below the hips. Then she peeled one side onto her arm and then the other before popping the second seal, tightening the upper body. The final seal was the neck, which when triggered made it form a near-vacuum seal around her, achieving almost perfectly skintight snugness. As she was sealing this one, she got into place in front of her ship's camera.

"Samus," The voice came in before the video as her ship accepted the call without needing to be told she was ready.

After a moment, her screen showed a truly ancient woman in military uniform. That was General Koutouvides, who had been on Sevah for longer than Samus had been alive. When Samus landed, she was going to pin a metaphorical medal to Samus's metaphorical chest for, ironically, 'lifetime achievement' in service to the federation. Neither Samus nor the general were especially interested in the ceremony, and both knew it.

"Hello, General," Samus bowed her head respectfully.

"Forgive me if I don't return the gesture." General Koutouvides sounded annoyed, but Samus had never heard her sound any other way. "My back is starting to go."

"Wasn't it starting to go last time we spoke?" Samus asked politely.

"The first stage of things can be the longest stage sometimes," The General smiled wryly. "Something that anybody who has had to get landing clearance to one of my posts should understand."

"Of course, general." Samus didn't find the joke particularly funny, but she smiled anyway.

Her suit seemed to shudder against her skin. Samus froze for a moment, unsure if she was imagining things. The secret was that she also tended to catastrophize, of course. Now that she knew there was something wrong with suit generation - even a potential false positive - she would be thinking about it until the process of decontamination was over. Hell, she'd probably still be thinking about it after that. It didn't help that the Zero Suit occasionally rubbed one the literal wrong way. There were times where she could have sworn it pulsed, rode up in the crotch, or pinched in an almost living way. But she'd never had a reason to worry about these in the past. It was just an annoying curiosity. Now, even when it was behaving, she swore it wasn't. She tried to convince herself that she'd just been imagining it.

"Naturally, your clearance level means that you have permission to land, but we've been instructed to enforce some new quarantine protocol." The general remained expressionless, something she was very very good at. "Have you landed at Meyeun in the past thousand hours?"

"Meyeun?" Samus glanced up at the ceiling trying to remember, but her ship gave a negative sound. "No, I don't think I've been on Meyeun since the last time you were there."

"Yes, that's…" General Koutouvides gave a slightly embarrassed expression. "The source of the quarantine order, I'm afraid. I took a plant back from the planet's surface as a souvenir, and it proved to be an invasive species."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Samus had a little trouble imagining the general to be that sentimental. "But I didn't take any souvenirs from Meyeun. And if I'd carried an invasive species aboard my ship, I don't think I'd be alive to tell the tale right now."

"It's not adaptive, just somewhat lucky to thrive on Sevah's atmosphere." The general resumed her expressionless-ness. "We have the outbreak under control, but we're practicing quarantine until our scientists have a reliable pesticide for it. If it was adaptive, we might not be talking right now, the thing reproduced almost faster than we could kill it with what we had on hand."

"Glad to hear you're okay." Samus answered politely. "But the hardier species usually aren't adaptive."

"That's a dangerous thing to assume. I nearly died on Kepler-7 because of a damn fungus." Koutouvides spat. "You try telling something without a brain that it's never met a human before and it shouldn't be able to synthesize moisture out of our lungs. It didn't seem interested in arguing."

Samus winced, in part because she'd heard the horror stories about the Kepler incident, in part because she could swear her Zero Suit was too tight. It wasn't substantial, just a few centimeters around the chest and hips in particular, but the fabricator must have misfired. Maybe that was the real mess the fabricator was in, that whatever had infected it was going to give her slightly subpar suits from now on. More likely, if the machine was giving her false positives, it was just on the fritz. She tried to pinch and stretch the suit in a way that hopefully didn't show up on her video capture.

"You've told me that story before," Samus nodded. "You're lucky to be alive, general."

"Lucky," The general scoffed. "I've tried to tell my doctor that the only reason I survived was because I was a smoker, but he wasn't having it. At my age, you have to cut everything fun, even if it saved your life once."

"If you've quit, I haven't noticed any change in your disposition." Samus smirked just slightly.

"Alright, wiseass." General Koutouvides coughed. "Any stops at Kamui in the past thousand days? There's a sickness there we're trying to avoid."

"No, no stops at Kamui at all." Samus answered professionally.

"Any previously unreported damage or changes to your ship?" The general read off a list.

"Nothing serious." Samus frowned. "I think my clothing manufacturer is glitching."

"We'll have a tech take a look at it. The Federation isn't concerned about that." Koutouvides didn't even look up from the readout she was clearly using.

"Actually, does the Federation have any record of parasitic species that survive in clothing manufacturers?" Samus interrupted. "Just to put my ship's mind at ease."

"No, we have no records of any such species." Samus couldn't help but notice that the general didn't look it up or anything. Though if there was anybody she trusted to go off of memory, it was probably her.

"My computer complained about foreign biomatter-" Samus trailed off, because if she'd continued her voice would have broken.

There was definitely something wrong with her suit, or her imagination was really, truly getting out of hand. She could swear there was a slight, steady, tangible pull on her nipples. It was like the tightness around her chest had shifted entirely into tightness around the end of her breasts, pinching at her sensitive buds and moving them outward away from her chest. She frowned, pursed her lips, and felt her ears warm up. It wasn't a remotely unpleasant experience, the touch was gentle but steady, and her nipples had always been sensitive and were quick to respond to the attention. In fact, she could feel a slightly uncomfortable wetness forming in the crotch of her suit, which had never responded well to arousal. Rubbing her thighs together, Samus tried to ignore it. She'd throw the suit off as soon as the call ended if she needed to.

"-particular model you have always does that." Koutouvides had actually looked something up, though Samus was pretty sure it wasn't about if a species could survive in her suit fabricator. "If you don't personally see or feel anything wrong with the suits-"

"Not really," Samus answered quickly. On the off chance she was imagining this, or if it was true but it was a minor issue, she didn't want Koutouvides being the one to know about it. There were certain people you didn't talk about your sex life with. "I expect it's a false positive."

"Well, keep an eye on it until you land, I guess." The general shrugged, then took on a slightly mocking tone. "Anything else? Shower too hot? Food too bland?"

"No, general." Samus gave a slight, head-only bow of courtesy.

"Sounds good. Any contraband you'd like to declare?" Koutouvides was right along to the next topic.

"A suit of extremely powerful and dangerous power armor, Chozo design, capable of blowing up your entire outpost at a moment's notice." Samus tried to keep her face as expressionless as possible.

"Right, well just don't use it to do that." Koutouvides didn't even look up from her list. "You're a big girl, we trust you with it."

"Your vote of confidence-" Samus started, then trailed off again.

The tightness around her nipples had increased, now properly into the realm of undeniability, and also into the real of discomfort. And still, Samus found she didn't dislike it. It was a harsh but mild sensation and a constant one. There was a feeling in the sensitive skin like little pins and needles, or like crackles of static electricity. Despite it now being on the painful side, Samus found she was getting wetter. Then she gasped as one of the nipples suddenly released all pressure. Without meaning to, she reached up and cupped the still-pinched breast, but then the freed nipple was pinched again and the other one was released. Samus bit down on her lip, grinding her thighs together.

"-you would have to declare it if you were bringing in any materials, even non-contraband from the regions just listed. Failure to do so could result in a fine or loss of your security clearance." Koutouvides hadn't noticed Samus's distress (if you could call it that). She finished reading from what must have been her datapad and looked up with bored expectance.

"U-understood," Samus nodded.

"I need you to consent to the terms just listed." Koutouvides looked tired.

"I consent to those terms." Samus did her best to keep her voice even.

She realized with a tinge of embarrassment that there was something erotic about trying to keep a straight face. Not that there was anything particularly erotic about General Koutouvides, but she might have been a perfect foil for it. Because Koutouvides was so sexless, so familiar, and so disinterested, there would have been enough humiliation if Samus suddenly moaned or cried out to make the situation weird and unpleasant. Her suit, apparently spurred on by the reaction it was getting, had picked up the pace of alternating squeezes. Samus was pretty sure she couldn't cum just from this, but it was going to bring her closer than she was probably comfortable with.

"You look hot," General Koutouvides commented.

"Yes," Samus responded a bit too quickly, trying to keep her voice under control. "As part of my suit fabricator misbehaving, my Zero Suit doesn't breathe like it normally does."

"I see," Koutouvides looked back down.

"I plan to remove it as soon as our communications end," Samus added, feeling a little more daring than usual.

"I see," Koutouvides repeated without looking up.

The tightness around her hips had shifted to between her legs, almost like it was collecting her wetness. Samus realized with some nervousness that she couldn't really feel the suit sticking to her crotch like it usually would during arousal. She supposed it made a bit of sense. Something that had evolved to survive in a clothing fabricator would either subsist on body moisture, dead skin cells, or both. If it was the first one, then it looked like whatever was in her suit with her had found a good source of moisture production and was now making the best of it.

"And finally," Koutouvides started speaking faster, clearly ready to be done with all of this. "Do you agree to-"

Samus had to put a hand over her mouth. The same tightness that had consumed both her nipples managed to isolate her clit and pull on it. What had been a borderline unpleasant but distinctly pleasurable sensation on her nipples was impossible to ignore for even a second down there. Her legs trembled and nearly gave out. This was absolutely going to make her cum, and it was going to do so soon. Samus couldn't let that happen while she was still on-call with the general. Trying her hardest not to think about it, Samus balled her hands into fists and tried to breathe slowly and evenly. Between her legs, her suit let go of her clit and made her shudder, then sucked it back up and sent another stomach-churning wave of pleasure through her. She realized that Koutouvides was staring at her, looking annoyed, clearly waiting for an answer.

"I agree," Samus's voice was barely keeping from breaking.

"Great, then we'll see you in a few days." The general grumbled, squinting at her for a moment. "If that's all-"

"I gotta go! Sorry!" Samus gasped out, cutting the line short.

The second the connection cut, Samus collapsed forward onto her bed, bent over as her knees buckled and hit the floor. Her hips pumped and her back arched and flexed as she came, her thighs burning from the force it had taken to hold back. She let out several very loud, very unladylike groans before squeaking and squealing her way through the rest. The crotch of her zero suit was getting absolutely soaked, but as quickly as the wetness came, it went again. All the while as pleasure rolled around her body and wiped her mind clean of everything she'd just gone over with the general, Samus's suit kept squeezing and unsqueezing her most sensitive spots.

She reached up with a shaking hand and popped the neck seal, at which point all three suction spots shut off instantly, as if the creature was now aware that it was being watched and potentially about to be removed. Samus took a shuddering moment to get her legs back under her, though her knees kept trying to knock inward, and pulled the suit down around her waist.

Her poor nipples were badly swollen. Bigger and redder than she'd ever seen them before. She assumed the redness would go away, she hoped the swelling would too. But as she reached up to gingerly touch them, she expected them to be so sensitive they hurt. Instead, they tingled, feeling almost pleasant to the touch.

"S-shit," Samus muttered as she pinched one of her nipples, reveling in the lack of discomfort, considering how they'd just been treated. If they weren't swollen, would the right word be… enlarged? She was a little scared to check between her legs, where her clit felt similiarly hot and pulsing with her heartbeat.

"Is everything alright, Samus?" Her computer chirped.

"Yes, fine," Samus stood up as best she could and halfway sealed her neck seal, holding her suit in place just enough to be dressed-looking.

"Is your suit functioning properly? You told General Koutouvides that-"

"It's functioning perfectly." Samus snapped.
