Decisions to-be made

Once home, everyone works together to unload the van before going inside to change and unwind. It had been a long day. It was a little after 4 so you had about an hour before you were going to start dinner. You retreat to your room and lay on your bed. You are quickly lost in thought over the days events. Your family wouldn’t be the same after today. You wouldn’t be the same with your new gift.

You thought about Ashley and her choices in your relationship. The problem wasn’t as much that she cheated as it was she lied. Today, you had had deep moments with each member of your family but you weren’t committed to anyone. It was a thin line and you knew that but you hadn’t crossed over yet. The questions were many: would you cross? Would you force them into something? Would you claim them all? Would you focus on just one? Would you totally go wild with power or stay within yourself?

You think for a long while about what you want, processing the day, your gifts and your options. Finally, you sit up in your bed, resolute in your choice.
