Chapter 2: I Bet You've Imagined All Sorts of Things...

Chapter 2 by ErosApostasia ErosApostasia

Continued from chapter 1:

"What do you think this is?" she asks suddenly.

"What?" I reply, caught off guard.

Adalynn's gaze snaps back up to meet mine, her brown eyes narrowing slightly behind her glasses. There's a flicker of something unreadable in their depths—frustration? Disappointment? Something more deliberate?

"You think I don't notice how you look at me?" Her words are soft but carry an undercurrent of steel. "How you flirt with me during class, linger after lessons?"

She takes another step closer, invading my personal space. At this proximity, I can see the faint dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose, the way her pulse flutters rapidly at the base of her throat—a tell that betrays her own emotional state.

"I may be your teacher, but I'm also a woman," Adalynn continues, her voice low and intense. "And I've seen the way you and the other boys eye me. Like I'm some kind of prize to be won."

Chapter 2:

I stumble for an answer. "You were a cool teacher. I'm just—"

But she interrupts me.

"You think I don't notice?" she asks, her voice cutting through the air.

"What?" I feign innocence.

She sighs again, setting her things down with visible annoyance. Folding her arms across her chest, she tilts her hips slightly.

"I might be older than you, but I'm still a woman," she says firmly. "Tell me the truth."

"Look, I'm sorry if I offended you or something, but I—"

She interrupts again, her voice dropping lower.

"You think I'm attractive. Just say it."

My mouth goes dry. I can't lie to her—not now, not with the intensity of her gaze locked on mine.

"Yeah," I admit. "I do."

Adalynn's eyes flash with a mixture of anger and something darker, more primal. In two swift strides, she closes the remaining distance between us, backing me up against the wall. Her small hand comes to rest on my chest, feeling the rapid pounding of my heart beneath her palm.

"Don't lie to me," she hisses, her face mere inches from mine. "I saw the way you stared at me during lectures, how your eyes followed every curve of my body. Did you think I wouldn't notice? That I'd just let it slide?"

Her other hand snakes up to grip my chin firmly, forcing me to meet her smoldering gaze. Adalynn's breath mingles with mine, warm and sweet with a hint of coffee. The proximity is intoxicating—and terrifying.

"I bet you've imagined all sorts of things, haven't you?" she purrs darkly.

"This isn't going as planned," I think, even as my body responds to her proximity.

"Er, yeah, I do think you're attractive," I admit, my heart racing. "I just—look, the other guys—"

"The other guys?" she presses.

"Yeah. We just think—well, that you're hot. It doesn't mean anything, really. Just boys, you know."

"I knew it," she says, her eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that sends a shiver down my spine.

"I'm sorry," I say quickly, and I start to back away. This was a bad idea. I need to get out of here. I won't have to see her again. Just leave.

But she places her hand on my shoulder to stop me.

"Hold on," she demands. "I'm not done with you yet."

I freeze.

Adalynn's grip on my shoulder tightens, her nails digging slightly into my skin through the fabric of my shirt. Her eyes bore into mine with an unsettling intensity, a storm of emotions swirling in their chocolate depths—anger, disappointment, and something else entirely. Something darker, more purposeful.

"Not so fast," she says, her voice low and controlled. "You don't get to just walk away after admitting to objectifying me, to treating me like a piece of meat for you and your little friends to ogle."

She steps even closer, pressing her lithe body against mine, pinning me to the wall with her surprising strength. The heat of her radiates through her thin blouse, searing my skin.

"I think it's time someone taught you a lesson about respect," Adalynn says, her lips brushing the shell of my ear. Her voice carries no malice now—only quiet resolve.

I stammer my excuses. "Whatever you're going to say, I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry. I—"

"Do you have a girlfriend?" she asks suddenly.

I'm confused. "Yeah."

She strides to the door and closes it in one fluid motion.

"You guys have sex yet?" she asks, turning back to face me.

She locks the door, and my heart drops.

"Uh," I hesitate. "Yeah."

"Would she be happy that you undress your teacher with your eyes?" she asks, her tone judgmental but not cruel—more like she's asking a genuine question.

I start to feel guilt wash over me.

"No," I admit honestly. "No, she wouldn't."
