Returning to the booth

Amber gives you a sultry smile and a wink as she replies "When we get home so I can take my time."

You smile and both stand up to walk back. As she turns and takes a step, you give her ass another playful smack. "Looking forward to it you minx." She smiles and wraps herself around your arm, clinging to you tightly. "You are going to talk to Tara as soon as we get back right?"

"Yes, of course. I will make it right with her. I promise." She readily agrees.

"Thank you Amber." You two walk back in silence looking like a happy couple as you wander back to the booth. Amber lets go of you once she says Tara and asks her to go talk privately. Tara is a little hesitant but you silently encourage her and she gets the hint and goes off with Amber.

Abigail comes over to you and asks "Do you want to explain what happened there?"

"It's not my story to tell but what I will say is that I think that their relationship is going to be much better going forward." You reply honestly.

Abigail looks you in the eye and nods. "Ok. I will trust you on this. And as much as I want to know the details, I respect you wanting to keep it between them until they are ready. You are a good man."

"Thank you Abigail. You don't know how much that means to me." You smile easily at her. Her words inflating your ego just a little more than normal.

"Alright, alright. If they are going to be gone for a bit, you get to cover for them. So let's get to work. The market opens in a couple minutes." She playful teases you and gives you a big smile. You laugh and get settled in for a busy day. With Tara and Amber off, there really wasn't too much extra work. The three of you, Naomi and Abigail could handle the booth easily, more hands just made it easier. Naomi went out and worked her magic with the passers-by and drove in the business. Abigail manned the table and assisted the customers and you checked them out and kept everything fully stocked. After a bit, Emma and Linda returned as it got busier and helped out as well.

After about an hour, Amber and Tara came back together. They were holding hands and smiling but you could also see there had been tears. It looked like it had gone as well as hoped. You checked in with them as settled in to help out. "All good you two?"

"Yes Jace, much better. Thank you." Tara answered you and Amber just nodded along.

"Glad to hear it. We have another hour of rush before we get to the quiet window." You nod and get back to checking out a nice couple getting some cupcakes.

Another busy hour passes before getting to quieter window between 10 and 11am. "Good work so far family" Emma cheerfully says. "We have about an hour before it picks up again so I want everyone to take a break. We will do three groups, 20 minutes each. First break is Jace and..."
