Chapter 7: Over My Knee?
Continued from chapter 6:
"You weren't a 'good roommate,' Ero," she says, her voice measured and almost gentle. "You were distracted. Negligent. You allowed me to occupy your space without properly accommodating my needs."
She bites her lip, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper near my neck. "And now, you belong to the rules of this house. My rules. And I promise you, Ero, I will take care of you through this. You have my word."
"You're going to spank me, aren't you?" I ask, my voice uncertain. "This is really happening."
She lets out a short, delighted laugh, the sound echoing in the quiet room. She tightens her grip around my waist for a brief second, relishing the solid weight of me in her arms before she releases me and steps around to face me once more. Her eyes roam over my flushed face, enjoying the raw honesty of my question.
"Spank you?" she asks, her tone dripping with feigned innocence. She raises a perfectly groomed eyebrow, trailing her fingers playfully along the line of my jaw. "Such a blunt word. But yes, I suppose that is the general idea. Though I prefer to think of it as a lesson in discipline. A reminder of who holds the lease on your behavior this semester."
Chapter 7:
She reaches out and grasps the hem of my pleated miniskirt, giving it a gentle, testing tug to see how high it rides, her touch careful and controlled.
My breath hitches in my chest. I thought for sure it would be Vashanti who would be getting spanked—rich, posh Vashanti, with no real world experience at being a roommate. And now, based on rules that we set for each other, based on a bet that we made, I've been feminized and cross-dressed, and Vashanti is about to spank my bottom.
These thoughts run through my head as I stare at the floor, not daring to look at her.
Vashanti watches my downward gaze, noting the way my eyelashes cast shadows against my heated cheeks. The realization that I am processing the sheer absurdity of our roles—the socialite turned disciplinarian and the bar owner turned submissive—only fuels her sense of triumph. She finds my internal conflict fascinating, a delicious complication to her carefully curated performance, and yet something deeper too—a genuine desire to guide me through this.
"Looking at the floor won't save you, Ero," she says, her voice firm but lacking any true malice. It's the voice of someone who has finally found a game where she actually knows how to win. She steps closer, forcing me to acknowledge her presence. "You seem confused. Do you truly think my lack of 'real world experience' makes me incapable of enforcing a contract? I grew up in a world where rules were everything. If you break them, there are consequences."
She pauses, letting that sink in, before adding softly, "But you won't break them, will you? Because you trust me. And I will make sure you're safe."
"Y-you're right," I say, my voice unsteady. "And I would have spanked you if I had won. Besides, there is always next week. The demerits start over and we'll see who gets spanked at the end of next week."
She laughs—a rich, throaty sound that carries genuine amusement. She reaches out, cupping my chin with her hand to force my gaze upward, ensuring I meet her amber eyes. The contact is electric, a silent assertion of her newfound authority.
"Next week?" Vashanti teases, her thumb stroking my cheekbone. Her eyes dance with competitive fire. "Oh, darling, don't count on it. I plan on being a model roommate. Impeccable. Disciplined. While you..." She trails off, letting the implication hang in the air like smoke. "...well, you've already established yourself as a bit of a rebel."
She releases my chin, her hands dropping to her sides, though she doesn't move away. The power dynamic has shifted irrevocably, and she is reveling in it.
"Well," I say quietly, "please be caring and compassionate. I've... I've never been spanked like this before."
The admission catches her off guard, momentarily stripping away her polished veneer. For a heartbeat, the ruthless competitor vanishes, replaced by a flicker of genuine empathy. She sees the tension in my shoulders, the uncertainty in my eyes, and realizes this isn't just a game of dominance for me—it's uncharted territory.
She softens her stance, her expression losing its mocking edge. She steps into my space again, but this time her touch is gentle, her hand coming up to rest softly on my forearm.
"Compassion is a virtue, Ero," Vashanti says quietly, her voice losing its performative sharpness. She searches my face, her amber eyes warm but serious. "But discipline requires firmness. I won't be cruel for the sake of cruelty, but I won't hold back either."
"That's fair," I say. "Well, Vashanti. You've dressed me up like a sissy girl. How... how do you want me? Over your knee?"
She stiffens slightly, her eyes flashing with a mix of surprise and a strange, dark satisfaction. The word feels scandalous, a breach of the polite society she usually inhabits, but here, in the privacy of this apartment, it fits the chaotic energy of our wager. She recovers quickly, her composure snapping back into place like a well-tailored suit.
"Over my knee?" Vashanti repeats, her voice dropping an octave. She paces a small semi-circle around me, her mind working rapidly. The image of me—this man, this bar owner—draped helplessly across her lap in such ridiculous finery is a powerful mental picture. It satisfies her need for status, for proving she can bend the world to her will.
She stops directly in front of me, her gaze raking over my trembling form.
My breath comes in hitching, dry sobs as I will myself not to cry. I won't give her the satisfaction.
She freezes mid-step, her keen eyes catching the telltale signs of my struggle—the shallow, ragged breaths, the tightness in my throat, the desperate attempt to maintain a stoic facade. In her world, tears are often a calculated weapon used to manipulate sympathy, but these are different. These are raw, involuntary reactions to fear and humiliation.
The predator in her wants to push harder, to see just how far she can go, but the woman underneath—the one who is secretly terrified of her own instability—feels a sudden, sharp pang of guilt. She realizes she might have pushed the psychological boundary further than intended.
She closes the distance between us, but her movements are no longer predatory. They are measured, almost cautious.
"Vashanti... Vashanti, please," I whisper, my voice breaking.
