The heaviness in Lily’s chest had given way to a sparkling hope. Or maybe it was nervous anticipation. In any sense, she finally felt good again. Her and Jake had deep dived into everything. The affair, the kink, what the other thought of everything that had happened up to this point. The conversation didn’t end with the explosion Lily had imagined, it ended with a promise of adventure. An adventure into the unknown. Lily was being let off a leash. But more than that, Jake was still by her side. She hadn’t lost the one thing that mattered to her above all else.

She walked into her house.

“Hey sweetie!” Robert called out “you must be in a better mood!”

Lily wasn’t aware of just how much her face told the world how she felt.

Robert just smirked and popped his eye brows, continuing to prepare dinner. He knew that look in Lily’s eye, the way she carried herself. She was more like her mom than she knew, and Robert could deduce exactly what had occurred at the young man’s house. Well, maybe not exactly, but he got the gist of it.

Amy bounced into the kitchen. “Oooh smells good daddy!” She was always so bubbly “Lily are you gonna watch a movie with us tonight, or are you gonna go back to your lame boyfriend’s?”

“All yours tonight, Ames” Lily assured her, Amy responding with a delighted squeak. “I’m gonna go change!”

Lily padded up the stairs. Robert turned to look noticing the motion and his eyes were magnetized to the swell of Lily’s ass. Squeezed tight by her olive colored scrunch-back yoga pants. He shook his head, not meaning to stare. Maybe it was his wife being away, his eyes taking in the nearest female form.

Lily changed into a white cropped hoodie and a pair of lavender side striped shorts and checked her phone.

Lily didn’t know how to answer that, she was still kind of in shock at the whole thing. How do you tell someone that your boyfriend gave you the pass to have a friend with benefits and fuck other people on the side? She wasn’t even sure the whole thing was real, like she’d dreamed the entire week and would still have to admit her wrongs to Jake. She was stepping into the unknown, a world of possibilities. Exciting, scary, dirty, possibilities. Was this even what she wanted? Was it actually what he wanted? She supposed it was, she could feel it in the way he fucked her, see it in the way he tried to hide his shame when he made his confession.

She sent the text and went down to join her family but the only thing on her mind was this new lifestyle that Jake had proposed. In the moment, she was in. Now with some time and separation, she wasn’t so sure. This isn’t what a good girlfriend does. Doesn’t a good girlfriend make her boyfriend’s fantasies come true? Is this something I even want to do?

“Lily, do you mind grabbing the remote?” Robert’s voice had interrupted her thoughts and was like a splash of cold water to shock her back to the present.

She did as she was asked. Then sat next to her step dad, snuggling up close to him like she hadn’t done since she was little. She wanted to feel some semblance of innocence again, because her thoughts were anything but. Amy chose the movie, some silly teen flick. Lily tried to follow along but all that she could think about was what her and Jake had discussed and all of the possibilities of what it might look like. She pictured strange men melting at her touch and brought to their knees as she swallowed their seeds, or them coating her face and body with the hot white fruits of her beauty and skill. The truth was that she enjoyed cum. She enjoyed what she had to do to produce it, she enjoyed seeing it as a result of her, she had even grown to love its taste. To crave it at times. And the thought of adding more loads to her imaginary trophy shelf was exciting. How many could I coax out? How will this change our relationship? She shifted slightly against Robert. Robert taking it as an attempt to get comfier, moved his arm and squeezed her in a firm loving way, his hand idly resting onto Lily’s exposed midriff. Neither thought anything of it. Unlike the dozens of men gawking at Lily or trying to get a chance to see what she felt like at parties or the bars, this was a simple fatherly gesture. A silent affirmation of care from the man who made the conscious decision to be a stable and loving male figure in her life. She remembered how Robert had cried at her graduation. She didn’t understand why at the time, but thinking about it now she finally got it. He had watched her grow, helped to teach her all the skills to prepare her for the real world, and now was about to set her free into it. It was a mixture of pride, fear, and vicarious joy. A light bulb went off when her mind drew the connection to Jake and his proposition for this new lifestyle. He had chosen her. He was a constant in her life and would continue to be. Seeing her flaunt, hearing about her experience with another man, envisioning more experiences like it… they all made him feel the same things Robert felt at that graduation.

I just hope Robert wasn’t horny like Jake too. She giggled at her own thought and Robert and Amy both gave her a funny look. She blushed and turned her attention back to the TV screen.
