Chapter 30: The Extra Class
Elena stood at the door with a warm, welcoming smile as Max, David, and Ana stepped inside her house. She had prepared the guest room downstairs as a small classroom — a large table, some chairs, her laptop, and a whiteboard she had brought from the university earlier that day.
Max and David looked genuinely excited. Their eyes were bright, and they kept exchanging quick glances with each other, clearly thrilled that they were finally inside Professor Elena's house. Ana, on the other hand, looked pale and visibly uncomfortable. She kept glancing around the living room as if expecting someone to appear at any moment.
Elena noticed the difference immediately.
She thought to herself, Did these two say something to her on the way here? A small protective instinct rose in her chest.
"Are you okay, Ana?" Elena asked gently, her voice soft and concerned.
Ana quickly forced a smile. "Yes, Professor. I'm fine. Just a little nervous about the class."
Elena studied her for a second longer but didn't push. "Alright. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, just let me know."
She led all three of them into the guest room she had prepared. The space was neat and professional — a long table in the center with chairs around it, her laptop connected to a small projector, and some biology textbooks stacked neatly on the side.
"Please make yourselves comfortable," Elena said as she closed the door behind them. "I thought it would be better to use this room instead of the living room. It's quieter."
Max and David immediately took seats at the table, still looking far too excited for a simple biology extra class. Ana sat down more slowly, choosing a chair slightly away from the two boys.
Elena stood at the head of the table and opened her laptop. "Since all three of you are in the same batch, I thought we could revise some important topics from the last few lectures — especially the ones related to human physiology and reproductive biology. If there's anything specific you want to focus on, just tell me."
David leaned forward with a small grin. "Whatever you think is important, Professor. We're happy to follow your lead."
Max nodded quickly, his eyes lingering on Elena a little longer than necessary.
Ana stayed quiet, her hands clasped tightly in her lap.
Elena began the lesson in her usual clear and professional manner. She explained the topics calmly, using diagrams on her laptop and occasionally writing on the small whiteboard. For the first twenty minutes, everything felt normal.
But slowly, the atmosphere began to shift.
Max and David kept asking questions that were slightly too personal or borderline inappropriate, though they framed them as academic curiosity. David asked detailed questions about hormonal changes during arousal. Max asked about the physical effects of prolonged sexual activity on the body. Elena answered professionally, but she could feel the underlying intent behind their questions.
Ana, meanwhile, was barely participating. She kept glancing toward the door and the staircase as if she expected someone to come down at any moment. Her leg bounced under the table.
Elena paused midway through explaining the menstrual cycle and looked directly at Ana again.
"Ana, are you sure you're feeling alright?" she asked, her voice gentle but firm. "You seem distracted."
Ana blinked and forced another smile. "I'm okay, Professor. Really. Just tired."
Elena nodded, though she didn't fully believe her. She continued the lesson, but her mind was now split. She was wondering what exactly had happened between these three on the way here. Max and David were clearly trying to steer the conversation in a sexual direction, and Ana was visibly on edge.
After another thirty minutes, Elena decided to give them a short break.
"Alright, let's take ten minutes," she said, closing her laptop. "Feel free to stretch or use the washroom. The kitchen is right outside if anyone wants water."
Max and David immediately stood up and stepped outside into the hallway, whispering to each other. Ana remained seated for a moment before quietly getting up and walking toward the window, staring outside with her arms crossed.
Elena watched her for a few seconds, then walked over.
"Ana," she said softly, standing beside her. "If something happened with Max and David on the way here, you can tell me. I won't get angry."
Ana turned to look at her. For a brief second, something flickered in her eyes — fear, guilt, and something else Elena couldn't quite read. But then Ana shook her head.
"Nothing happened, Professor.I'm fine."
Elena studied her face for a moment longer. She could sense that Ana was hiding something, but she didn't want to pressure her in front of the others.
"Alright," Elena said finally. "But if you ever feel uncomfortable during these extra classes, you can always tell me. I mean it."
Ana gave a small, grateful nod. "Thank you."
Elena smiled and walked back to the table to prepare the next part of the lesson. As she did, she couldn't shake the strange feeling that something was off about today's session.
Meanwhile, in the hallway, Max and David were whispering.
"This is bullshit," Max muttered. "We can't do anything with her here."
David glanced toward the room where Ana was standing. "Relax. We'll find a way. Maybe we can get her to leave early or something. Or…" He smirked. "Maybe we can include her too."
Max raised an eyebrow. "You think she'd be into it?"
David shrugged. "Who knows? She's hot. And right now, she's the only thing standing between us and Professor Elena. We might as well make the best of it."
They both laughed quietly before heading back inside.
Elena looked up as they returned. "Ready to continue?"
Max and David nodded eagerly and took their seats again. Ana followed more slowly and sat down without saying anything.
Elena reopened her laptop and continued the lesson, but the energy in the room had changed. Max and David were no longer even pretending to be fully focused on biology. Their questions became bolder. Ana stayed silent, her discomfort growing with every passing minute.
Elena could feel the tension thickening in the air.
She didn't know yet what was really going on between these three students — or how deeply Ana was connected to her own life outside these walls.
But she could sense that this "extra class" was not going to stay academic for long.
