Yoonho Baek's Apartment

Jinwoo looked around at the crowd who was slowly working themselves into a frenzy, shouting "White Tigers!" or "Hunters!" Jinwoo sighed. "The lobby is getting too crowded for my liking. Does anyone mind if the three of us take these negotiations somewhere private?"

Yoonho was the first to reply. "Let's go to my apartment. It's nearby and security from my guild will cover us."

"Fine by me." Choi replied. The three hunters weaved their way outside and towards the building that housed the apartments of the top members of the White Tiger guild. By the time they reached the door, the crowd had started to swell in number as word was beginning to get out. Thankfully, members of the White Tiger Guild were there to deter the crowd from following them in.

As the trio entered the elevator, Jinwoo let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Didn't think I would be getting so popular this quickly. This is more attention than I've ever gotten since I've become a hunter."

Yoonho chuckled. "You think that's bad, wait until the ranking is announced. There's a certain responsibility and expectation that comes with being an S-rank. Not only do I have other hunters be counting on me, but then there's the celebrity portion. Companies asking for my favor, sponsorship letters, and more stuff to pile onto the paperwork and dungeon crawling that defines my time as a guild master."

Jong-In looks back wistfully. "There was a certain appeal to my time before being an S-rank, before the gates."

They enter Yoonho's penthouse and make their way to the living room, with Jinwoo taking a seat on the couch. Despite looking calm, he was unsure of how this meeting was going to go. Joining one of the biggest guilds in the country would be a huge boon, as he would have easier access to higher ranking dungeons, and opportunities to level up along with it. Not to mention that he would be making lots more money that would pay the bills for Jinah and his mother. However, he would have a less convenient window to complete the upper floors of The Demon's Castle and finish the cure for the Elixir of Life, not that the other two hunters knew that.

At the very least, he should hear them out. "So, you want me to join your guild?" Jinwoo asked in a way that could be directed to either of them.

"Of course." Jong-In said. "With you in the Hunter's Guild, we-"

"Hey!" Yoonho interrupted. "He was in my orbit first. He's done a lot for me, so I'm going to return the favor in spades once he joins the White Tigers."

"Is that so?" Jong-In asked. "Hunter Sung, I'm willing to give you a blank check and all the benefits of being in the primary strike squad."

"So will I! Name your price!" Yoonho responded. He glared at his fellow guild master, ready to fight for the emerging talent in his own home.
