What's next?
The missing piece
Bella kept working, filling in the rest of him with careful strokes: shoulders, chest, the long lines of his legs, the subtle tension in his stomach. Everything took shape on the page except the one space still hidden by the towel. The blank gap felt louder the longer she stared at it.
She paused, charcoal hovering.
“Alex…” Her voice was quiet. “There’s still a hole in the drawing.”
He glanced down at the towel, then back at her. “Yeah. I noticed.”
“I can’t finish it like this.” She met his eyes. “Not properly.”
Alex’s fingers tightened on the fabric. “Bella… it’s different when it’s just the two of us. In the studio it’s professional. Here it feels...”
“More personal...” she finished for him. “I know. But I already drew Julian completely. And you’re right here. It would be incomplete.”
He let out a slow breath, clearly undecided. “You’re really going to push this?”
“I’m asking you...” she said softly. “Not demanding. But… yes. I want to see all of you. For the drawing.”
A long silence stretched between them. Alex looked at the ceiling, then at the sketchpad in her lap, then finally back at her face. Whatever he saw there seemed to settle something.
“…Alright,” he muttered. “Just for the drawing.”
His hand moved. The towel slipped away and dropped to the floor.
Bella’s breath caught.
Even soft, he was big:; thick, heavy, resting against his thigh with a clear weight to it. The skin was smooth, a shade darker than the rest of him, the head partially covered. She stared openly, charcoal forgotten for a moment as her eyes traced every detail: the girth, the slight curve, the way it lay so solid even at rest.
In her head the thoughts came fast and unfiltered. *How much bigger does it get when he’s hard? How far would it rise? How thick would that vein stand out?* The idea of capturing him fully erect on paper made her pulse quicken. She could already imagine the shading, the tension in the skin, the way it would look flushed and heavy in her drawing.
She shifted on the floor, feeling the familiar slick heat between her legs return stronger than before.
Alex watched her staring. His voice came out rougher. “You’re looking at it like you’re already planning the next page.”
Bella swallowed. “I am.” She forced herself to pick up the charcoal again, starting to sketch the soft shape with careful, almost reverent lines. “It’s… impressive even like this. I keep wondering what it would look like hard. How much it changes.”
The words hung in the air. She could feel the question forming on her tongue *Can you get hard for me? Just so I can draw it properly?*
but she held it back, conflicted. Asking felt like crossing a clearer line. Yet the longer she drew the soft weight of him, the more the unfinished idea burned in her mind.
She kept her eyes on the paper, voice quieter now.
“I’m almost done with this version… but it still feels like something’s missing.”
