Who is right?
Agree with the Labrador
Ali looked angrily at the face of the smirking Doberman, and said: „I am a guard, just like you. Stop busting my balls about it!” A little cheezy, but it would do the trick.
„Alright.” The Doberman back away. „Alright little guy. You wouldn't mind proving it, would you?” His smirk came back to his cheeks.
„Sorry?" Ali asked confused, and a little stressed.
„Well, you wouldn't mind a night shift to prove it to me, would ya?" The Doberman got off the bench, and approached the door, looking behind to see whether Ali would follow or not. „Also since you're new, and I've been on this job for a few years, I've got seniority, which means that when I say something work related, you should listen and do it. So, get up and come on!”
The Doberman went out the door, Ali looked at Spike who just shrugged his shoulders. Eventually both of them left the sauna as well, and met up with the Doberman in the changing room. He had already changed in some casual clothes, blue pants and black shirt, with his badge attached to it.
Before Ali or Spike could tell the Doberman to slow down, another canine entered the room, rushing to Spike. „Sire! The prince had gone missing! I can't find him anywhere!” The new canine, a German Shepherd that Ali recognised as the person who usually watches him sleep, said with a concerned voice.
„What? No way! He was in the library a second ago! Wasn't he Woof?” Spike said, very concerned as well, Ali only nodded at his question, blood rushing to his brain after he realised that he spent too much time with the doggies, and now everyone thinks that he's missing.
„He's gone I tell ya!” The German Shepherd exclaimed half panicked.
„I'll help you find him! He must have gone somewhere when you weren't looking!” Spike and the German Shepard rushed out of the room, in search for the missing prince, while the prince stood completely motionless, watching them leave.
„Well, looks like it would be just the two of us.” The Doberman said with a smirk. „Unless you want to join the search for the prince? As it looks like you know something about him, no? His stench is stuck to your clothes after all.”
Ali looked back at the Doberman, who was giving him a cheeky smile, waiting for his response. He didn't know whether he figured it and that he was just pretending to be a guard, or just trying to get him into trouble. Either way, it seemed like the Doberman won't leave alone until he proves his point.
