Who are you
Riley Nakamura
The DesignSpace interface unfolds across the screen with a soft blue glow. Your neural link calibrates, and suddenly you're not just looking at the software—you're inside it. The workspace materializes around your consciousness: an infinite white void where a translucent human form hovers at eye level, rotating slowly.
"Subject: Morgan Chen," a pleasant synthetic voice announces. "Current biological age: seventy-three. Cellular integrity: forty-two percent. Commencing design phase."
The template body before you is generic, sexless, a canvas of possibility. You reach out with your mind and the form responds, ready to be molded. The interface presents categories along your peripheral vision: skeletal structure, musculature, nervous system, endocrine configuration, sensory enhancement, aesthetic parameters.
Morgan's voice breaks through from the physical world. "How does it work? Can you see me in there?"
"Not yet," you say, your physical mouth moving while your consciousness remains split between realities. "Right now it's just a blank template. I need to build you from the ground up."
The technician—a young woman with the too-perfect features of someone who's been through the process herself—leans forward in the remaining chair. Her badge reads 'Kim Sato, Helix BioSolutions.' "Take your time with the foundational choices," she says. "Age appearance, base body type, sex characteristics. Those decisions cascade into everything else. We recommend starting with the endocrine system if sexual function is the priority—testosterone, estrogen, oxytocin production, dopamine sensitivity. That's where desire lives at the chemical level."
She taps something on her tablet. "Remember, you're not bound by biological constraints. We can set hormone production at any level. Create response patterns that don't exist in nature. Some clients triple their nerve density in erogenous zones. Others reprogram their reward systems entirely." She pauses. "And there are no judgment calls here. Whatever you design, that's what Morgan becomes."
Morgan stands up from the table, moves closer to where you sit with the neural interface crown on your head. "Riley? I meant what I said. I want to feel everything. I want a body that wants and is wanted. Make me into someone who can barely think straight from how good everything feels. I trust you completely."
The template waits, patient and infinite in its potential.
