What to do ?
Get a job
The local news stand has periodicals, magazines, some junk foods and cigarettes. The idea to enjoy fully the life of a rockstar for a moment comes to your mind. You see yourself drinking and smoking, surrounded by your fans. And you wonder if is this what success does do artists. You take a seat on the closest bench and flip though a few pages of the latest periodical. There seems to be some social buzz about a nearby House doing concerts every Friday and Saturday evening. You make a note of the address.
" Going to a show sounds fun, maybe could give me some inspiration for my own music. " Fueled by a new desire, you return home to read trough the classified ads. Spending the weekend listening music sounds great, but first you need to think about your rent. Some jobs caught your attention.
*" Waitress $4/Hour + Tips. "* Doesn't sound bad. "** The Silver Diner is looking for servers. " You've never been a server before but how hard could it be ? It sounds almost as a mandatory stop for any artist before reaching higher flights.
" Sales Clerk $6/Hour + Commissions. " Work as a sales clerk at the local music store sounds perfect for you. Pays more than to be a waitress, and might open a few doors on the future. But earning commissions from selling art sounds wrong. Freddie Mercury said he is a musical prostitute, and you wonder if you are ready for this huge step.
" Barista $12/hr . " Work as a barista at a local coffee shop sounds interesting, and you wonder if any of your future fans will meet your there.
" Online Modelling $125 per job " Work as a fashion model for online magazines ? This sounds like a bait for future camgirls.
There are no more jobs available for now, so is time to make a decision.
