Confrontation

Chloe went off to use the bathroom, leaving me alone on a bench with my heart pounding in my ears. I stared blankly at the amusement park rides spinning and twirling in the distance, trying to process what had just happened.

The boys approached from behind, their footsteps growing louder until they were standing beside me. When I turned to face them, shock and excitement danced across their faces - but most unnerving of all was that self-satisfied glimmer in their eyes.

"Did you...see everything?" I croaked out, my voice cracking with nerves.

They exchanged knowing grins before the tallest one replied, "Oh yeah. We got some great shots."

My stomach flipped as if I'd been pushed off the highest ride at the park. I swallowed hard, keeping my emotions down. and hidden"Of me or...?"

"Both!" they exclaimed in unison, their laughter echoing across the midway.

"No way," I breathed, my eyes widening in disbelief. "You saw my...underwear??"

The boy with the phone shrugged sheepishly, his friends exchanging knowing glances and chuckling to themselves. "Yeah, sorry about that. But your face was priceless!"

He held out his phone, and I gasped as he scrolled through the pictures.
