After a long, breathless moment, she speaks, her voice muffled by the pillow.

"...Okay. That was worth the wait."

A weak, exhausted laugh escapes her as she shifts slightly beneath him, her body aching in the best way.

"You might have broken me. Just so you know."

She turns her head, meeting his eyes with a dazed, satisfied smile, her hand reaching back to rest on his arm.

"I'm gonna need a minute before I can walk. Maybe an hour. Possibly a day."
