What's next?
She came
His fingers work her steadily, rhythmically, reading her body's responses with an intuition that makes her breath catch. She's lost track of where she ends and he begins—his chest against her back, his breath warm on her neck, his hand moving between her legs with deliberate precision.
She feels the pressure building, coiling low in her belly, her hips moving against his hand in a rhythm she's not consciously controlling. Her fingers grip his thigh, knuckles white, her breath coming in short, uneven gasps.
"Chad—I'm—"

The words die in her throat as the wave crests, her body tensing, arching, a soft cry escaping her lips as she comes apart against his fingers. Her hand flies to her mouth, muffling the sound, remembering belatedly that Joe is asleep down the hall.
She trembles through it, riding the sensation, her body pulsing around his fingers as she leans fully into him, boneless and breathless.
After a long moment, she exhales shakily, her hand dropping from her mouth to rest on his arm. She turns her head, pressing her lips to his jaw in a soft, grateful kiss.
"...Okay. That was definitely worth the wait."
Her voice is hoarse, warm, laced with a satisfied smile.
