Something impossible

Klarion watched Teekl with him at what was forming in front of them. A solid white egg made of tartar sauce forming in the air. Klarion could feel the power of chaos coursing through it. "Oh, this is going to be so good, Teekl!" Klarion said, almost shaking with enthusiasm, at the birth of his new toy, his mind filled with the image of a new Eldritch horror that would destroy Earth's seas.

Then out of nowhere, as if reaching a critical mass, the egg began to crack. The Condiment wizard was not quite sure what exactly would happen if the egg hatched and considered that this strange egg would cause a disaster if it hatched; he moved quickly. He poured more tartar sauce into the egg, trying to fill in the cracks. It wasn't working as whatever inside was just taking in the added tartar sauce.

It came out of its shell, standing in all its glory. The Condiment wizard stared at it, appearing utterly confused about how an egg of tartar sauce and strange energy would produce what was in front of him. He looked towards his new friend. Who was looking at the new being on the film just as surprised as he was? "Impossible." Klarion whispered quietly, not filling the Condiment wizard with confidence at what had just happened.

While a new being took its first steps, two civilizations were in danger of taking their last. The underwater city-states of Aurania and Venturia had been at each other's throats for as long as either side could remember. The two underwater kingdoms were both matriarchies, though men were only second-class citizens in Aurania; those poor men in Venturia were slaves who often died young in the fighting pits.

The battles usually started with the Venturians launching a raid for male slaves and resources. If the Aurians weren't able to rebel against the raiders, then it would turn into a full-blown invasion as more were sent in to follow the raiders. Though it wasn't that this time, as for the first time in human history, the red and black female raiders of Venturia were fighting side by side with the green and gold guards of Aurania.

The Venturians' blood thirst and the Aurians' superior firepower were barely holding the unending hoard at bay. Though that was a less feasible position as the battle went on, the unending horde of sea monsters stretched their lines to breaking point. An Aurian captain took a moment to take in the battle in full and saw it wouldn't be long before they were overrun. So she made her way over to a Venturian warlord.

"We need to fall back. We can't hold them back out in the open anymore. We should retreat to our respective cities and hope that the walls as well as them splitting up to chase both of us will give us the advantage that we need to win," the captain, Aurora, said. The female warlord of the nearby Venturian raiders fought for a few moments, tearing some squid monstrosity into several pieces before turning to respond.

"We will do no such thing!" The warlord Venta screeched in rage at the mere mention of retreat. "We are not cowards like you Aurians! We will stay and fight!" Vents said, continuing to roar, the surrounding raiders took up the chant of repeating the word "fight" over and over again as they swung their weapons. Aurora was rightly pissed at the accusation of cowardice but ignored it for the moment.

"We have to fall back; it has nothing to do with bravery! We will not have the numbers to hold in a few hours. If we're going to see both our kingdoms survive, we need to retreat right now!" Captain Aurora is practically back at Venta. Before Venta could respond, a miracle occurred as, all of a sudden, in sync and without warning, the sea monsters flew in one direction away from them, doing what appeared to be a retreat.

Venta, with a smug look on her face, spoke at the sight of what was happening before her eyes. "See, they were no match for us Venturians!" Venta shouted out in pride, taking all the glory for herself and her raiders as Aurora looked on at the retreat with concern, knowing they didn't cause this and something else did, which was no doubt going to be of great concern to both Venturia and Aurania.

Back at the cave, the creature took its first few steps into the world. Its eyes widened as it took everything and smiled at the Condiment wizard. The sea monsters were coming back to meet her. The lady that ruled them all and a creature that would terrify a great many people once they found out her existence was even possible.
