Alex cools his head

Chapter 5 by ThePurpleD3viL ThePurpleD3viL

Alex almost wanted to tear her blouse off and see how much more he could get away with but he knew there was much more to this that he needed to figure out. He needed to run some tests but he needed to figure out how. His eyes went to the CCTV camera in the corner of the roof. His mother had been a stickler for security and had almost no concept of privacy. The only rooms in the house that didn’t have cameras were the walk-in wardrobes and the bathrooms. Alex had detested them ever since she had them installed, especially after he had hacked into their feed once, hoping to catch his mother in a vulnerable state. But she had been super careful and the only thing that had done was take away the few places he could jack off in peace. Now, though, those same cameras could be used to keep track of his little experiment.

He fixed her outfit quickly, straightening the white blouse and making sure nothing looked out of place in case she came to and noticed something wrong. His hands lingered a second longer on the curve of her heavy tits, but he forced himself to step back. Then he headed to his room, grabbed his laptop and returned to the attic. The old portable control device sat there humming quietly on the floor. Alex booted up the software he needed to check the camera feeds. It would take some time to hack back into the home system. While it ran in the background, he sighed and glanced back at the wooden crate that had started all of this.

That was when his eye caught an envelope taped to the inside of the lid. Knowing now how important every document in the crate probably was, Alex wasted no time. He carefully peeled off the tape and opened the envelope. Inside were two documents.

The first was a demographic file on his mother. The paper looked old, the edges slightly yellowed. It listed her age as 19, which lined up with the time she had first met his father. Place of birth: a small town in Russia. Detailed measurements followed, bust, waist, hips, height, weight, even eye color and hair. Everything clinical and precise. Alex wasn’t surprised to see that his father had been listed as her primary target. It all fit together in a sick, logical way.

The second document was a brief report on Operation: Snow Sweet. It described a mind control program the Soviets had started and the Russians had carried forward under the leadership of Dr. Yuri Popov. The plan was to take attractive Russian women, brainwash and train them as perfect spies, wipe their memories, give them new personalities and plant them in American households. From there they could collect valuable intel over years. Even the agents themselves wouldn’t know they were undercover. That was supposed to be the genius of it. These people sure thought of everything, Alex thought to himself as he kept reading.

The triggering signal was supposed to come from a theater building owned by the shell company the Russians were using as a base, through an underground control room that also held their brainwashing facility. Alex quickly pulled out his phone and googled the names. Dr. Yuri Popov had been killed in an apparent terrorist attack about seventeen years ago at the same theater. When he looked up the theater and the shell company, he found that the theater had been shut down after the attack and was recently being used by some obscure frat as a frat house. The shell company was also long out of business.

Alex put two and two together. The signal to trigger his mother had never come. That was why she had just carried on with her life as his mother, even after his father passed away. She truly believed she had loved him. She had raised Alex thinking it was all real.

The final statements in the report explained that once the asset was triggered, her programming would override her old personality. She would still have all her memories, but she would become loyal to her country and her mission. Tasks for the benefit of the mission would be given through the main transmitter at headquarters or, in emergencies, through the portable device.

Alex wondered how the portable device had ended up in their attic in the first place. Maybe his father had found it and hidden it, or maybe it had been delivered to her years ago and forgotten. He took a moment to piece together what all of this really meant. By choosing to trigger her, he had fundamentally lost who his mother used to be. The strict but real version of Natasha Volkov was gone, replaced by whatever this programming turned her into. If there was no way back, should he really go ahead with this?
