Surprise!

Lauren stepped out of the bathroom, her bare feet on touching on the hardwood floors. She was confused to see she wasn't in her apartment- she was in her family's house for some reason. Luckily, it was quiet and the lights were off, so she was alone. She could head to her old room and get dressed... Brr, it was cold! Shivering, she hurried on tip toes, creeping as quick as she could towards her bedroom. She clutched the towel to her chest, feeling a bit exposed and nervous...

"Surprise!!"

Lauren was blinded as the lights to the living room. Standing there was her whole family: her mother, her step father, her sister, her aunts, her uncles, her cousins, even her elderly grandmother. Her mother was holding a cake, and behind them was a banner that read 'Happy 20th Birthday Lauren!'

Lauren was totally shocked. So shocked in fact that she let her grip slip, and her towel fell...
