Econurite Dewy Duck
It's been a week since Della disappeared, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, along with Webby, Lena, and Violet, are out looking for clues. The dim glow of Violet’s handheld scanner flickered across the damp alley bricks, casting eerie shadows over the scattered remnants of torn fabric—Della’s uniform, now little more than shredded ribbons clinging to the cracked pavement. Dewey’s fingers trembled as he picked up a single silver-gray feather, its edges shimmering with an unnatural iridescence. "Guys…" His voice cracked. "This isn’t right. Her feathers don’t glow." "Perhsps its from whoever, or whayever she encountered here..we know their was a tossed due to her clothing pieces" sys violet the purple rave girl, and Louieducjs girlfriend.
Violet's scanner emitted a sharp ping as it detected residual nanonurite traces on the feather, its screen flooding with pulsing violet warnings. The glow intensified—then the feather twitched in Dewey’s palm. "Whoa—!" He recoiled, but the feather lashed out like a living thing, barbed tendrils sprouting from its shaft to wrap around his wrist. Dewey gasped as the corrupted feather inserted itself in his own featgers, something surged up his arm inside him asvinky veins started spreading from it , his muscles locking in a spasm of pleasure-pain. Lena was closest. "Dewey!"
Dewey’s breath hitched as the black veins pulsed beneath his feathers, his pupils dilating with unnatural hunger. Before Lena could react, his beak crashed against hers in a feverish, sloppy kiss—his tongue already slick with the same glistening residue that had corrupted Della. Lena gasped into the kiss, her hands flying up to push against his chest, but Dewey’s grip was iron-tight, his fingers digging into her shoulders as black and white stripeed tendrils of his own began to sprout from his wrists, coiling around her waist. His feathers becoming the same silverish ry as the one he found.Huey lunged forward with a strangled cry, his fingers closing around Lena’s wrist just as Dewey’s tendrils tightened their grip. The corrupted feathers along Dewey’s arms rippled, as veiens of black started to become visible, his eyes pitch black with the same veins protruding out from the edges on his face as the rest of his body becomes silver greyish. "Nngh—Lena, hold on—!" Huey gritted his beak, muscles straining as he pulled, but Dewey’s transformed body was impossibly strong now., yet he , suddenly let's her go., Lena coughing from his now tendril like tongue licking his purple beak.

Huey's arms trembled with the strain, Dewey's rips his blue hoodie off his new form with ease , before his blackened eyes locked onto Scrooges mansion, a guttural warble rising from his corrupted throat. Webby was already moving, her foot lashing out in a crescent kick aimed at Dewey's knee, but his new form flowed around the attack like liquid shadow, his entire body going intangible.Webby’s kick passed harmlessly through Dewey’s shimmering form as his body dissolved into swirling silver mist—only his pitch-black eyes remained, floating like voids with glowing violet irises in the haze. Before disappearing completely, his laugh fading getting further away Lena gagged, wiping Dewey’s slick residue from her beak as the droplet seeped into the cracks between the cobblestones.
Huey staggered back. "Where’d he—?..shit..what the hell just happened" Webby , Louie and violet all with a terrorized, yet serious look as they keep looking to see if he reappears. The mist curled away into the night air, leaving only the faintest shimmer of violet residue where Dewey had stood moments before. Lena wiped her beak again, her fingers trembling as they came away slick with the same glistening substance that had dripped from Dewey’s tongue. Webby’s breath came in short, sharp gasps as she spun in place, fists raised, scanning the rooftops. "He—he couldn’t have gone far," she whispered, though the certainty in her voice wavered. Louie’s phone slipped from his grip, clattering against the cobblestones. His pupils shrank to pinpricks as he stared at the spot where his brother had dissolved.
Huey’s hands shook as he grabbed Lena’s shoulders, his eyes darting over her face. "Lena—your mouth—did any of it—?" His voice cracked. Lena coughed again, spitting onto the cobblestones. A thin string of violet-tinged saliva stretched between her lips before snapping. "I—I don’t feel different," she rasped, but even as she said it, her fingers twitched at her sides Violet’s hand shot out, gripping Lena’s wrist. "Your capillaries." Her voice was clinical, but her pupils trembled. "I fine sister...we need to let scrooge know what happened to dewy, and most like to Della as well...Louie recorded it i believe" says lena, but violet her adoptive sister still worried. Lena's fingers twitched again, the movement not right, too mechanical. Violet's grip tightened as she watched the violet-tinged saliva drip from Lena's chin onto the cobblestones, each drop sizzling faintly like acid eating at stone. Louie's phone still recording on the ground, the screen still displaying the last frames of Dewey's—no, the thing that had been Dewey—dissolving into that swirling violet mist. Huey's breath came in short, panicked bursts, his medical training warring with the impossible. "D..did that happen to mom as well, and who, or what did this to them in the first place" hey mumbles in disbelief.
Heyuy and violet help lena to her feet, and the 5 of them head backnto the mansion as Louie picks his phone up.
