Chapter 9 by wicker wicker

"Hi, I'm Chuck."

"I'm Christie. Just started so no name tag yet." She smiled warmly.

"Sorry about that bitchy woman with balding scalp and ridiculous mustache. I mean a fingerprint on the outside of the glass. How could you do something so terrible like that to ruin her life?"

"I know, right. I guess she's trans or something, but whatever. What can I get you?"

"Just a glass of water with lemon, and I know what I want to order: I'll have the lamb medallions with wild rice and steamed carrots."

"Very good, Chuck."

The woman who was now balding with a bushy mustache was joined by her husband, who seemed to know his wife's condition. The man was handsome, so Chuck figured that when he changed someone, their past did not totally alter. Chuck looked at the man: Won't realize his wife is balding with a mustache until she does. He then used his power to have the woman realize her balding hair and mustache when she got home, but he had no idea if it would work.

The waitress wrote her number on Chuck's receipt and told him to call her. Chuck paid, left a hefty tip, and left.

The next day went by normally, the people he changed at work seemed to be none the worse for wear, and Brooklyn kept her job as a secretary despite being a cheap whore on the side, Peggy came to work in striped pants, a floral blazer, and polka dot blouse with her hair in a top knot, Natalie had big hair again, and Sylvia had wild makeup.

After work, Chuck went to a nice bar for a drink.

He saw a stunning blonde ordering a drink and headed her way with a smile.

She looked at him and looked shocked and upset he was approaching her.

Before Chuck could say anything, she said "I have a drink, and I'm not interested."

Chuck kept smiling: Curvy, slutty, gullible bimbo who believes whatever I say.
