What happens?
John becomes wielder of the stone
The stone was warm to the touch and then cooled pretty quickly. John placed it back into the box. Searching the packaging there was no sign of its origin. His email didn't mention any pending deliveries.
He left it on his desk to deal with it later while he searched for his next gig job on his phone.
