A decent bit

Emerald looked down a bit sadly.

"A lot of it... Isn't really the best for a romantic date. So let's just say that there was a time where I wasn't at my best. Things were hard. Then Cinder found me and helped me along. She can be kinda prickly and she definitely needs to learn to relax - and despite how I'm coming to love messing with her, I really do love her. Not as much as you of course but still. She did a lot for me. I just get annoyed at how ungrateful and cold she can be after what I've done for her... Anyway, all that to say, I ended up at Beacon because she was the only one who stopped to give me a hand when I was at my lowest" she said sadly.
