Simple boredom

Neo shrugged and typed into her scroll "I was bored."

"Really?" Duke asked. "You want to be hypnotized, to lose your free will and be me and Emerald's slave...because you're bored?"

Neo nodded and typed again.

"I can't talk, I'm always doing what Cinder says, and I need a little more excitement in my life. So I want you to hypnotize me."

"Um, okay," said Duke. "And you're aware I'll be using you as I see fit, right?"

Neo nodded.

"All right then," Duke said, placing his fingers on Neo's forehead.
