A wing and a red feather

"Batman disappeared around this area here," Oracle told Nightwing and Red Robin. The two had gotten concerned when Batman hadn't shown up back at the Batcave after he was supposed to. So the two, fearing something had gone wrong, immediately moved to find Batman. They would save him if he needed or back him if he was still in a fight with someone or something.

Oracle, of course, being more than happy to provide a location for them, though not for the reason they thought. " Thanks babs were on our way." Nightwing said in appreciation of the location given to which Oracle gave a happy sound in response which sounded oddly erotic before cutting the line. Red robin gave Nightwing a look at that. " What can I say she rather happy with me these days." Nightwing said as explanation to which Red Robin merely rolled his eyes in response.

Though Red Robin had noticed Spoiler seemed to have gotten rather forward as well. He shook his mind of the strange behavior and focused back in task. The two made good time and were quickly at an abandoned park looking around for any signs of Batman. "Did you find anything?" Nightwing asked Red Robin after searching every inch of the abandoned park. Red Robin nodded no in response.

" Honestly it looks like he was never here to began with." Red Robin said pointing out zero sign he'd even come this way much less going to the park itself. Nightwing found himself having to agree with Red Robin's conclusion. So he decided to call Babs to see if they were at the right location or why she thought Batman was here in the first place. Then suddenly out of nowhere, without warning, two figures dropped from the sky, trying to dropkick the two of them.

"Now why did you have to dodge?" the man-fish asked. Red Robin and Nightwing got a good look at their two would-be ambushers and were surprised as they were looking at two fish people, a man and a woman. " Well might as well give our best performance! That why you won't feel wrong about being beaten little robin." The man fish said to which the female fish nodded her head.

Nightwing and Red Robin glanced at each other for a moment in confusion at what exactly was going on with the two. They then watched in surprise as the charged for the swing set and used it to throw themselves up in the air before coming at them again with hidden wings out, letting the two glide straight at the pair.

"Great, they're not just fish people, they're flying fish people!" Nightwing yelled as they met the charge of the flying fish people couple. They exchanged blows, though, as they flipped and counter-flipped at each other; they were fighting each other more like acrobats than fighters. Though as Nightwing fought, he found something disturbing. Their acrobatics were exactly like how his parents used to move when they were alive and working at the circus.

The two were more dangerous than his parents though as the two's gliding ability allow them to perform acrobatics far better than would have been possible. In fact one of them performed an impossible move of acrobatics that sent red Robin flying a kind of triple flip kick though Nightwing didn't have the time to confirm the move just trying to avoid it himself.

Red Robin layed there in a sand pit getting his breath back before speaking. "Well, that hurt," Red Robin said, feeling the need to state the obvious. Though he was then grabbed by something that was suddenly appearing out of the sand pit. He had just a moment to glimpse what was grabbing him before he was down.

It was a humanoid anemone. Its tentacles had wrapped around and stung him, pumping some kind of paralyzing toxin into him. A woman appears out of the man anemone tentacles. "See, dear, I told you Tim wouldn't give us much trouble." The woman had an orange and white stripe pattern on her fish scales. She then looked to the flying fish couple. " You didn't have to hit our poor Tim so hard." The clown fish woman shouted at the other two fish people.

Nightwing noticed Red Robin was down but couldn't help, as just like Batman, he'd been exhausted from earlier fights in the night he was managing. Though he kept fighting off the three, doing a dazzling display of acrobatics as they fought. It was so good that Nightwing suddenly lost himself in the memories of his youth.

Distracted and exhausted, his opponents took advantage and landed a twin flying kick that landed on his chest, sending him flying. He landed **** and beaten. The fight was now clearly over. The two women fretted over the man and the injuries for a little bit. Then Red Robin and Nightwing were gently taken away.
